Grr.... Stupid me!
Got myself banned from Paddy Power Poker!!
Came in drunk the other night with a mate who was staying in my place and was showing him hold em manager and opened up two cash tables. 10c/20c or something. Think I broke even, not sure completely. Then was just fucking around playing blackjack and lost about $100 or something. Hadn't played either cash or blackjack for months anyway, but had intended on self banning myself from cash/blackjack for ages cos I don't really play either, but in the past had busted my account for small amounts and all I really want to play is tournaments.
So opened up the customer support thing and asked to ban me from cash/blackjack and was kinda taking the piss a bit, being an idiot, nothing major. So I try to open up PPP yesterday and says to contact support. No probs with that, just assumed I could get it reopened. Turns out you can't ban yourself exclusively from cash and customer support tell me I'm 100% never allowed play poker again! FFS! They'll let me use the sportsbook where I've lost a small amount on, but never allowed play poker again where I'm well up for the year/overall!
Not a huge deal, will just play on Boyles, but had intended to play a few IO satellites this year which is really annoying.

It'll never settle.
All gambling contracts are void ab initio and therefore are legally unenforceable. There is no legal redress for this. You are technically correct...the best kind of correct

Speaking as someone that doesn't have a clue about Befair and how backing and laying works, what's my options here for greening up as people calling it.
In the Darts, pre tournaments i backed Van Gerwen @ 250/1, Part @ 125/1 and Nicholson @ 50/1
On Betfair, i can lay them with Nicholson @ 12.5, Van Gerwen @ 50 and Part @ 42.
Basically, what does it mean in a Nutshell if i had €20 on each?

Better off letting it ride and have a look again if they reach the last 8?

If you had backed them on Betfair then you'd stand to win 1500 or whatever and the 490 would just come out of that so you wouldnt need to deposit more or anything.
Yeah id let it ride and hope you get them all through another round.Originally posted by ArmaniJeansI like this heat - some proper music innit.

Yeah you'd be up a guaranteed 90 and then 590 profit if he wins it.

Question for the BBV collective 2 parts:
What is the correct way to act in the church if you are invited to a christening and have no belief in the religion the child is being baptised into?
AND
Same again if visiting the grave of a person who was catholic but you have no belief in Catholocism at all. This person is a close relative of yours! Not immediate family but jst outside that. This may or may not be an original thought of my own.
All efforts were made to make this thought original but with the abundance of thoughts in the world the originality of this thought cannot be guaranteed.

Yeah of course, being respectful is a given. I suppose I didnt phrase it particularly well.
In the church, do you partake in the mass? or do you sit quietly? Do you join in when everyone else is praying and standing or do you remain stoic?
The second one was simply, people say to say a prayer or whatever when visiting a grave? If you don't pray, what do you do?This may or may not be an original thought of my own.

If you are a godparent then there are a couple of promises you must make...help raise the child within the church etc, its a simple matter of saying 'we will' when the priest asks the Q's
There will be photo's though obv

Visiting a grave is a personal thing imo. Religion doesnt matter its just a place for you to go and reflect on the persons life - or whatever you want really. There's no set way to act, just really with some respect to the other people who would use the graveyard.... no cracking open a few cans. This too shall pass.

Just re-watching the first season of Friday Night Lights, the pilot episode is pretty much TV perfection.
Has to be the best pilot of any show ever. It's just scene by scene perfect, introduces the characters so well, and just grips you instantly.
Voiceover Speech from Coach Taylor at the end is class, "Give all of us gathered here tonight the strength to remember that life is so very fragile. We are all vulnerable, and we will all, at some point in our lives... fall. We will all fall. We must carry this in our hearts... that what we have is special. That it can be taken from us, and when it is taken from us, we will be tested. We will be tested to our very souls. We will now all be tested. It is these times, it is this pain, that allows us to look inside ourselves. "
Texas Forever.

I didnt even begin organising as being so close to Xmas people would be away and busy a lot. Im here until Jan 20th so I might look into organising one when people get back to work and are a little bit more stable. This may or may not be an original thought of my own.
