At home in Sligo with no internet access, but to my surprise last night I noticed that I had proper 3g coverage on my phone here in the sticks, when I normally can only get GPRS access at best. Must be a new mast or something nearby.
Tethered my phone to my laptop to stream the Heineken Cup final today, and to check updates by Danny on the ukipt all day, all the while monitoring my usage to make sure I don't blow my monthly allowance, but should all be good.

Finding somewhere to show the Leinster match was an absolute mission here in Melbourne. Found one place, only showed it until half time.
Left to get a taxi home. 3am. Not a hope. Getting a taxi around closing time here is a nightmare.
Ran home from Flinders street to Prahran. Bout 4km. Looked like a weirdo.

Unreal day of rugby yesterday, the stadium was unbelievable. Brother won the All Ireland 7s too, and is playing again today for Leinster U20s, so I'm off to that soon too.
Boards.ie match thread shows an awful awful lot of hate towards Leinster from some horrible people tbh. I would back an Irish team vs AN Other in any final of any sport going, but some people, particularly some South Westerners posted the most insane drivel yesterday, fulling showing themselves up as the "haters" that they are. Disgraceful stuff imo, just as well Leinster went out and stuffed the game back down their throats in the second half!Comment

saw some prick in a munster jersey in dub city centre cheering on Northhampton for the whole first half. moved pubs because of him. These people are just idiots, you get them on all sides. Bought into the "rivalry" that is a marketing creation. Watched it in harrys on the green with 4 Munster friends, And cheered Leinster home as loud as the rest of the pub. Got a stag party to trip to Benalmadena next weekend.
One of the nights is a themed night, and its 'golf'. Its been described to me by the groom as 'retro golf' and by the best man as 'tacky golf'.
However never having played the silly game I'm not sure what any of this means. I've been told Guineys & Arnotts bargain basement is my nirvana.
