I must do my 2nd placement in a different school, I've had that organised since last September so I'm ready to go in September until Christmas.

I've already asked current school if I can come back next January and then when im qualified to do subbing until I get a job and they've said yes thankfully so it's all coming together nicely.

Have absolutely loved my tike there tbh and will actually miss the little shits when I leave. Its a good place, good staff, good kids. Been very positive.

Appeals Court downsized this to $175m (he still might end up having to pay the full amount, this is just collateral) so sadly unlikely to see the bailiffs seizing his golden toilet.

On another interesting general note - there's new EU rules in place, implemented in Ireland, that make it illegal for companies to prevent people working on sidehustles in their evenings, or indeed for a company blanket-claiming ownership of any ideas developed by their employees. Think its a standard part of a lot of contracts that you can't work on other things without permission, but these clauses are no longer valid unless they have been reissued along the much more permissive lines of the law. The purpose of the changes is to encourage innovation, as its mainly people in a job who would develop an entrepreneurial idea, but they were being discouraged by contractual clauses.

Anyone with an idea should at least now be able to transfer it to a concept to look for funding and as the technology gets better even create full features with it.

I don't give a shit about his personal life but it does point to a pattern of deception that calls everything he says into questions. The main one is around the use of steroids. Pretty much every grifter that exists in the supplement/fitness space claims to be natural and is pumping themselves full of chemicals while selling these completely unrealistic expectations. The answer to how a 48 year old man has the energy for 5 relationships is going to be testosterone. I am fairly sure he sells the idea of only using natural means to raise it which seems very doubtful at this point.

Everything PG writes is insightful. Things that don't scale isn't a reference to building something specific, and inflexible. Its a reference to do whatever it takes to get people using your product. From there, automating and optimizing is much easier.
