I've jailbroken my 4S (Absinthe Jailbreak) and install "Browser Changer" (free) from the Cydia store which fixed problems 2 and 3.

Decided to get up two hours early this morn. Normally leave for work at about 8.20, and usually get out of bed at eight. Had a pain in my hole rushing about the place every morning.

Fantastic idea, made a nice breakfast, sorted out a few things, caught up on the bbv, played guitar, read the paper.

Definiteley gonna become an early bird, would heartily recommend.

For me though the Reader is the biggest issue, by far.

Never use reader, always use pocket/instapaper.
That doesn't work either yet as far as I can tell which is annoying.
Still much prefer the feel and use of it. Have to see how it wirks for everyday use.

Washing machine started acting up last week, not draining properly, removed and cleaned the filter, still the same. Took the pump assembly apart, couldent see anything wrong and when i put it back together it worked...for 2 days.

Resigned to getting a new one today i gave the missus my laser and told her noting more than 400, already this morning gave her a check for the "volentry contribution" for the school and 350 for a bus ticket.

Not one for taking things laying down i decided to have one more go, took it all apart again, cleaned the ball valve in the pump assy and put it all back together again, still the same, fuck it i said and decided to go to bed....only in bed about 5 mins and im thinking there really is only one more place where it could be blocked, the waste pipe cos i checked everything else, sure enough when i took the pipe out a 1c piece was staring up at me, must have dislodged it the first day and made its way back to form the blockage again.

Now, time for bed, up 400 notes.

Not true at all in my experience. There were lots of northern european couples and Italian/Spanish/Portuguese couples too. I spent many a night sat with a Swedish guy called Mikel playing poker with the three craziest Italian guys I've ever met. Great times.

There was an over 21's only bar area at night (kids are a feature to be fair) where there was a proper nightclub at night full of 20-somethings while at the other end of the deck there was a salsa dancing class.

Genuinely they make a massive effort to cater to every sort of holiday maker. There were some amazing restaurants (small extra charge for the "speciality dining" as they call it), water slides on board, shows every night, excellent (but expensive) excursions from the ship, a 2-storey high wall where you could play the Wii ("fuck you Italian Kids, it's winner stays on!") pool tables, bars, casino, shopping, a Spa. It was amazing.

Define high end ?

We did the Haven Spa Suite with Balcony , took the ships excursions and mostly dined in the speciality restaurants. I broke even from the poker winnings after a good deal of shopping but you could easily do it from anywhere between €1,300 all in to €5k depending on how nuts you go.

He's from Listowel (Kerry), John B's son. Was very surprised when I read this cos he normally sticks to the trivial issues in sport. He failed badly at trying to be impartial as it was only half way through the article that me mentioned Celtic in any bad light and then immediately turned to Rangers again. Surprised there wasn't uproar about it and I'd expect a few letters to the editor this week.

Hard to gauge at the moment unfortunetly. Can't imagine there'll be too many younger than 24, and 40 would be the top with maybe a couple of older guys. As for numbers, no idea but would like maybe 30 or so to show up for the poker end of it and then the majority to follow for pints! Yeah Temple Bar would be messy so something more on the outskirts would suit but have to see how it goes

So I assume you are wondering what the bet pub crawl route from the pokers to the strippers is. Really going to depend on how much you are willing to spring for dances and how hot you require your strippers to be.

Book a table in the Baggot Inn. Suits all ages and open til 4am. Near clubs if some want to move on. There are the serve your own pints tables that def get reserved usually and then a section beside the cocktail bar up a few steps on left inside that would hold more. Think we reserved it for Champs League final before.

My standard would be...
8 ball pub table, break down the middle with deep screw to bounce back up table in and out of baulk. Takes the scratch out of the equation.

8ball big table or 9ball big table, standard break from the side of the line with max power into the front ball. If you are fouling with this break then just practice more - its the optimimum break unless you have table evidence that a slow cut break is working.

If you are scratching unluckily (white being knocked in by other balls) then its just variance.

Don't see why being left/right handed would make a difference, though fwiw I'm right handed and break from the left which is apparently unusual.

I remember in a boozer in Cork being told that you must pot the black into the pocket opposite where you pot your last red/yellow. Thought it was complete wind-up but every game seemed to genuinely follow this rule.

I am totally clueless when it comes to anything to do with computers etc. Basically for my internet connection I have a vodafone dongle which costs E20 a month. Generally suits my browsing needs as I'm not a big online player, bit slow for youtube at times though. Guy calls to my door yesterday from Eircom offering a deal of a wireless connection, 8mb and free line rental (irrelevant to us really) - E20 for first 9 months and E30 after that. You must enter into a 12 month contract and he said that to keep you on after that they would probably go back down to E20's a month. Is this a no brainer??

Also would anyone know why my computer has become frustratingly slow since downloading Norton Anti Virus? You'll probably need to explain this to me like I'm a 4 yr old

do you have UPC for the telly? Can get a broadband bundle with the TV and the service is way better than Eircom.

Your PC is slow with Norton on it because, simply put, Norton is shit.

I know you're a country girl are you in the sticks? Can you get UPC broadband? If so I would advise you to go with them, if not the Eircom deal does sound pretty decent is there any links to this deal online?

As for Norton get rid of it as it's completely muck, download Microsoft Security Essentials & Malwarebytes no need to buy just click the download myself and many folks from here swear by them.

you won't be able to get iOS updates from apple if you jailbreak as it can potentially brick the phone or more likely will undo the jailbreaking. Only worth applying the update when the crack is available for that particular update.

Jailbreaking is ridiculously easy, a single program you can download from the internet will do it for you.

Had lappy trouble a few months back. it Just died and was lifeless. Brought it to computer shop, he had to replace something (a plug or a blown something or other) he did it for 100e. All was good

Last night computer dies again. I try taking battery in and out, charging it, etc etc. Dead. Presuming its same as before - and needing my laptop badly, I bring it to the same computer shop. Give out to him slightly that I think its the same thing, and that Im annoyed I have to pay again if it is . . . I wasnt too polite (yet not too bad) to this shop owner.

So fast forward an hour later. He calls me saying he turned it on and off, cleaned off the battery but that its working fine . . . with a giggle. Feeling stupid I call back into him.

As he explains the craic I'm waiting to see if he is going to charge me. He hands me the computer and gives me some advice on the battery and wishes me on my way. I now hand over the 10er I had in my hand, waiting for this exact scenario. Fair play to him, very honest guy. He could of taken me for atleast 50e and I would of been none the wiser. He was delighted when I tipped him 10er especially when I told him why.

His name is Anthony Williams, is based on the corner of Rathgar road and Rathmines (red shop front) He's of Nigerian decent if I had to guess (relevant?). Nice to see a little honesty out there and I would happilly recommend him to anyone with computer trouble in the area!
