My sister has just started college and needs a new laptop. My Dad's company has a deal with Dell afaik so can anybody recommend a decent Dell laptop that should cover what she needs it for? From a glance they seem to be around €400/€500 ish? Much appreciated.

Dell used to be unreal value in the small laptop market, but they're massively overpriced these days. I reckon even with a 15/20% discount you'd still be overpaying compared to Lenovo / Toshiba laptops.

If you must Dell it, get this (13.3inch screen) and upgrade the RAM to 3gb and the battery to the 8cell.

Get the dell, take the i5 processor upgrade for €60. Don't get the ram from Dell as you can buy 4gb online for €40 from memoryc or the likes and fit it in about 2 minutes with a small philips screwdriver.

17 players signed up to tonights Limit Holdem opener and 15 signed up for the Stud game

Still time for anyone to get involved in the IPBCOOP 2011. 15 players signed up for the overall crown and they include double UKIPT winner Nick Abou Risk, resident MTT crushers doke and MidniteKowby, previous winners White Knight and Strewelpeter and even a couple of chicks chancing their arm

Games 1 and 2 are on a 7.30/8 this eve and it's Limit Holdem and Limit Stud first up.

The Main thread is here for anyone that needs it. Get involved people, it's great craic

This kicks off tonight and so far we have only 7/8 players registered for the 2 games. Would be expecting triple these numbers by the time of kick-off.

We have 15 players reg'd for the Overall Championship so that's $645 in the prizepool at the moment. I originally said that it would be a 55/35/15 split, but that's based on about 30 runners. At the moment based on 15 runners and $645, we'll go 405/180/60

I'll review this at the end of game 4, and put up an exact % split for 1st/2nd/3rd but unless we hit 25 runners, we'll pay $85 for 3rd and about 70/30 for 1st/2nd.

If you want to reg for the overall championship, send €30/$43 to FlushdrawIRE on stars and post here to say it's been done.

boot the machine up with the CD in the drive. select Startup repair from the menu. let it run through that, if that doesn;t work you'll have to do a system restore (another option that comes up during the boot).

do that and select a backup previous to today.

Went to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy today and The Situation raved about it the other day and I liked but not on the same level for me I am afraid to say had only seen the trailer once so knew very little overall about it, there is some great scenes and some of the acting is superb but still would recommend people to go see it.

Only downside of the movie was the absolute clown behind me snoring his head off had a few bad movies in the flicks the last while with spanners in the audience. When I win the euromillions I am gonna rent out a screen to myself to watch movies and be away from the peasants (sounds like something RDIII would say)

Been to 2 cowboys eagles games in the new stadium. It is over priced,over crowded, full of high fiving retards, parking is a nightmare and id go again tomorrow if I could. Great experience but pales in comparison to college games. They are so much better
