He did genuinely own her in the exchanges around the economy. And when asked about potential police bias along racial lines she responded with 'we all face biases in life' which is the wrong politics answer even if it's a reasonable actual answer.

But he was terrible around the birther stuff; got rinsed on his taxes; and will have done nothing to endear female voters / Latinos / Blacks. He also flat out rambled at times and constantly interrupted.

I've watched presidential debates and followed the analysis of same each election since 2000. He definitely lost, even when adjusting for all the parallel concerns that these things get marked on ('looking' presidential / performance relative to expectations / zingers). *But* he did have her reeling the first half hour or so and there are two more of these to come.

Those instant dial groups are basically like trying to read tea leaves. Did the DJT supporters dial up because he mentioned the emails and they like when he's on the offensive? Look at the start of those numbers. His baseline with his own supporters until then was in the 30s. That's pathetic. They were roughly the same as the HRC favourables for him at that point.

We know when they went up but correlation is not immediately indicative of causation. Yes the email mentions caused a spike, but it's uncertain whether those comments are good for him or just bad for her. I actually thought she dealt with that topic really really well. He can't go back to that topic now without it wearing really thin. He took his biggest shot and broke out the greatest hits (my tax returns in exchange for your emails) and they fell flat.

1. I've never been to Thailand so I pick KS based on general chatter
2. There seem to be a number of beeches down that way that I have a choice of staying in so which one is best?
3. I primarily want to go to relax but wouldn't mind being in close to proximity to somewhere it is going to get fairly loose for a night or two.

What is most bizarre is the lack of knowledge on the Irish market place - we have little difficulty attracting people for IT or Finance from abroad. High salaries, big opportunities and multinational head quartered here. People want to move to Ireland for these jobs and because they are private companies salaries will be changed to make take home the same.

Medics is a problem but that is because the Health service is terrible and the money is worse. A tax break will not change this except for really pissing off our current doctors who will be getting paid less relatively and the other allied health and nurses will go mental and probably strike for the same conditions.

....Watched the debate this morning, and was a little surprised to see everyones reaction...Trump probably lacked the spark he usually produces, and there were definitely missed opportunities by him, especially to let the email scandal disappear so quickly...But he was definitely right on trade...I think he did a good job with the black/Hispanic population, and nailed Hillary a lot about being there too long and not making a difference, so why should people expect her to make a difference now... I would probably say Hillary shaded it, but I reckon there is definitely more room for improvement with trump than Hillary, so I think she will be the more nervous for the next one...
