Trying to figure out a way to divide a large group into two smaller equal groups based on gender and scoring accuracy?? Anyone any ideas? Not sure if it can be done through SPSS. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Was rather bad. I think I was in some sort of mania. Really fucking bizarre.

I was sneaking into the class at lunchtime and taking textbooks from people's bags and hiding them in another room. This went on for a few months until I was caught by a teacher.

Also did something similar in scouts where on nights away i'd stay awake until everyone was asleep and then undo the pegs on their tents. Then pretend to wake up with everyone else and go 'what the fck just happened'.


There's no explanation for it. Like I can't possibly explain why I did that. Good call by the headmaster on the expulsion though. Have a few incidents during the childhood that were clearly insanity.

more details? Is it as simple as this? Grouping is one of the things that SPSS does without any hassle though using the 'by' syntax.

I'm looking to divide my sample group into two groups as equal as possible. I have both male and females with varying degrees of accuracy when doing a task. The test is conducted out of a score of 20. I want two groups that are equal, like a quasi experimental trial. One control and one intervention group.
Will syntax do that?

your videocard has two outputs, just hook up the cables that come with the monitors to them, nothing particularly fancy needed.

Will need to change the properties in windows to use multiple monitors when they are connected, but that's a piece of piss.

edit: there should be a cable with white adapters on either end with the monitor, use that to connect to the graphics card.

Expelled for that? lols there would be nobody left in my secondary school so. I remember I threw a yop all over somebody and they ended up crying and throwing out their clothes. I got a "boys will be boys" from the teachers.

It'll definitely do it. Its almost designed for exactly that task. I've been too long away from it to know exactly how its done though. Thought it was a rather simple 'group by' + 'group identifier'.

haha well if you are not that into them then any will do, this is kinda for somebody that wants the best possible deal, whereas buying off amazon is easier. The monitors I am talking about are the likes of apple cinema displays that have some sort of tiny defect which means they are not sold as such and are rebranded and sold for hundreds less from korea. If you go with this option there is a chance of dead pixels so maybe you don't want that (very small chance), mine came perfectly and arrived in 2 days.

I have spent the entire day having a remarkably erudite debate about this. Has been brilliantly refreshing. There are a number of strands of opinion about this but, personally, I fall somewhere closest to this one. It's a long read but WELL worth it.

Even apart from the foregoing, which itself represents a baneful change in the established constitutional jurisprudence of Ireland, this is profoundly saddening development as far as I am concerned. I discuss two especially threatening aspects of it in the following paragraphs. But before turning to them I wish to make it clear that the manner in which the State have suggested that the Court has jurisdiction in this matter is just as depressing, and just as saddening. It is, if possible, still more threatening for the future because it is based on a mode of construction of a statute – s.23 of the Criminal Procedure Act, 2010 – which is at variance with the ordinary meaning of the English language which, if more widely adopted, would mean that words have no specific meaning and therefore that rights, which are expressed in words, can be reduced to meaningless, to mere words on a page without any practical consequences. The State’s submissions in this regard were based on a sort of Orwellian dissonance which I cannot too strongly deplore. Has anyone here got a Seagate goflex home external hd?

I'm having a lot of trouble with mine.

I'm not able to connect my laptop to it, I've tried via usb and ethernet. It won't show up in My Computer.

I can access the stuff that's on it online via Seagate share, but I can't upload to it. The Seagate dashboard software that comes with it doesn't work, doesn't recognise the device, never has, on this lappy or previous. Seagate android app doesn't locate it either.

I don't want to use Seagate share to access it, I just want to plug the thing in to my computer, view it's contents in folder form and drag and drop back and forth.

Does it not do this?

I've never come across a more user un-friendly tilting piece of kit.

If I was to just get rid of it, can anyone recommend a user friendly external hd, that I can use as described above?
