Should be a good game so. Definitely wasn't expecting United to be doing so well in pre season. And I've only been keeping a passing interest in Liverpool but Sterling seems in cracking form. Should be a good, competitive game for a friendly.

What's the best option for watching the Premier League this season? We have a Sky package with most of the frills but would cost an extra €36 p.m which i'm not crazy about. What's my chances of getting it half price for 6 months to something?

My connection at home is ok, but not great so could possibly get some online subscription. (I did use a SkySports logon courtesy of an IPB'er tyty, which i might still use if you're reading and that's ok), but it was quite slow and jumpy at home. What are the cool kids doing these days? Need to get a new laptop, so going to try and keep it dodgy stream free.

If I was you I would ring tomorrow and cancel. Never take the first offer and always use costs as the reason when they ask. I would also mention that you seen a good offer from UPC or Eircom and that you will go with that. They will at this point ask you what the offer is and try and sell there current one as better. I recommend playing dumb and say your partner is in charge of the sign up and she just told you get rid.

@Flushdraw, I got my sky bill cut down to €28 a month from about €45 a month. I can't remember the exact package we were on. But when the first guy installed the dish he fucked something up and we had constant signal problems.

After the third or fourth call out, the guy eventually moved the dish and replaced it with a new one. They tried charging me €60 per call out but I ended up getting a free call out with x amount taken off next bill. They also gave me a % discount and when everything was right again I had to move house so they gave me a free installation in the new place and a permanent bill of €28 a month "for my trouble".

They are ridic good at trying to keep customers from leaving. Just gotta play them right and be prepared to actually cancel if they won't budge.

watching it for the first time myself currently. There's been some genuine laugh out loud moments in it. James Gandolfini is an expert at delivering funny lines in the middle of serious scenes.

It suffered by getting progressively worse from start to finish, with the best scene (one of the best Bond scenes imo) being the opening in Turkey and everything going gradually downhill from there before the absolute farce of an ending in Scotland. Would arguably have been a better received film if they'd shown it in reverse, and the story would probably have been as coherent.

Just a shame that they effectively abandoned all the reboot work that they put into Casino Royale and decided to make a generic Moore/Brosnan film. Be interesting to see if they go back to the Quantum storyline - probably not as Skyfall made so much money they'll stick with something similar.

Agree. I've never heard or been given as much abuse from any other set of fans. I had my first experience of Armagh fans was when I was 12 or 14 and McConville scored a last minute goal to draw the game. There was a group of Armagh fans in front of us in the old Nally Stand and the abuse we got was unreal. Same shit all the way back down to the bus. They are still the only fans I hate being in the middle of. Most supporters are up for the craic, win lose or draw.

There are times when I'm embarrassed with some of the Armagh support but to tar them all with the one brush is wrong and not to want the team to go any further because of some fans is lol. Armagh have punched way above their weight in the AI so far this year I'd say 90% of the fans are just enjoying the ride. Abusing your own players is not an exclusively Armagh syndrome.
