I disagree, attacks have gotten better, more 4-2-3-1 teams leads to better quality chances, rather than 4-4-2, which relies on wingers lumping in towards two centre forwards and hoping for the best.

Also, 6 goals in 8 games is hardly ineptitude prior to meeting one of the top 4 teams is it?
