Maybe prioritise what are the most important things to you.
You probably don't want to do that here, but tbh I'd actually write all these things down and more, and try to get a feel for what I felt was important to me and then try to be objective on how best to maximise what you want to do.
I'd also have the CV dusted off and be applying for everything just to get a feel for the employment market at the minute to inform yourself.Last edited by V for Vendetta; 03-02-10, 11:30.‘IF YOU had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.” Genghis Khan

It is possible that things might get so bad here that we might have to reassess but for now, with us both still in jobs, we're staying.
and that's ridiculous to say I slate everything. There's loads of great things about living here: the West coast, pubs, the people, hurling, getting bad beats put on me by you....
I slate the stuff that deserves to be slated imo! And yes, that includes most elements of political life in this country. So what?"We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

A specialist marksman will carry out a "humane cull" of pigeons in the Memorial Gardens, Kingston's Town Centre Management announced this…
The comments are great, especially comment number 2

I agree with this action. Pigeons carry all manner of diseases like AIDS, malaria, rabies and mad cow disease to name but a few. They are also very aggressive and I can vouch for this as I was attacked by a flock and pecked severely while on my way home from flower arranging classes. In fact I would be more than happy to help in the killing of these evil creatures. Well done Kingston council keep up the good work.

Question for this mighty all knowing thread,
Has anyone on here have any bonded experience, part of our warehouse is bonded and we are looking at the option of opening customer accounts in the UK.
My question is when shipping to a customer in the UK does the following occur when shipping wines/spirits,
a) We the supplier pay the Irish Duty prior to delivery
b) We pay the UK Duty prior to delivery
c) The customer in the UK has the option to pay the UK duty prior to delivery.
I have asked our customs officer and he has gone off to look but may take a while.
Thanks in advance

I'm pretty happy here - if we weren't governed by corrupt monkeys who are intent on turning us into the West European version of Albania, I'd be happier still!

And my agenda is pretty radical as regards national politics (radical situations demand radical solutions after all); I don't think you'll find any mainstream political party advocating that all Irish banks be allowed to fail, for example.
Olly would be a good campaign manager though; he's amoral enough to do anything to win!"We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

*On two occasions during my school days I was involved in election campaigns. On both occasions the vote was rigged and my candidate won.

Powers of be, have killed millions of people throughout history and are still killling people in the name of power today at this minute. The average joe soap and the rest of the 99% of the world's population don't write our history books the other 1% does unfortunately. That 1% gives us the ****e we read in our history books.
People only realise the truth when it hits home.
But oh no, we just can't believe the truth, its to hard to believe. We live in a normal world then! I'd rather realise the crazier world than keep putting myself in some deluded denial that I'm living in a sane world. I have opened my eyes ever since I left a prison called school and used my own brain and mind to figure out whats going on this planet.
Man with power will do what he likes, it's not strange to me.

A banker has been left red-faced after being caught looking at racy near-nude photographs on his computer live on Australian television.
The Macquarie Private Wealth employee in Sydney clicked up the images of Australian model Miranda Kerr's latest GQ shoot, unaware a colleague nearby was doing a live television interview about the government's decision not to raise interest rates.
Australia's Seven Network broadcast the news item yesterday, with the photographs clearly showing on a computer screen in the background.
At one stage, the man turns and looks directly at the television camera and realises he is in its line of sight.
The incident has become a global internet hit with over 200,000 views and a 5-star rating on YouTube. It was reported widely in Australia's newspapers today.
Macquarie Bank, known locally as the "millionaire's factory', said it was taking the matter seriously.
"Macquarie has strict policies in place surrounding the use of technology and the issue arising from today's live cross on Seven News is being dealt with internally," the bank told local media.
Macquarie declined to name the employee. He is understood to be a mid-level client investment manager. He has reportedly been meeting executives to determine his future.

I was invited over to a family friends house to fix their PC. Of the 21,000 files on it, 6,000 were infected. Trouble is the thing is so badly infected that it's pretty much a write off. Facing a severe dilemma though as I wonder whether or not to wait until they finish making a pot of tea for me to break the news to them.
I suppose this is also a good time to warn everyone to ignore any tech support queries that I answer on here
