does anyone here have a clue how to write a character reference for someone who's going to be up in court? Don't have a notion about this kind of lark, i presume your start with your honour, they are remorseful and of good character etc. etc but how would your structure it and do you give examples of the "good character"and do you reference that the person has told you what they've done?? any help with this would be very very much appreciated...have to get it done.... said i'd do it for a mate and completely forgot about it and hes up soon.

oh, even better. all the Non Playable characters automatically attack what it deems as hostile characters.

PS2 is a bit meh to be honest. Obv you have some games such as Metal gear solid 1 + 2 and FFX but apart from some pro evo games there wasnt really a whole lot to it. I actually moved away from Sony after the PS2

WWhen I was a kid I bought Commodore 64 games at a school fair thinking that they'd work in my cassette player at home. I had no idea how they'd work, or how I'd see what was going on, but they were cheap, so I bought them.

When I tried to play them, all that happened was an awful lot of high pitched noises.

I liked the story, simple but it worked. They kept the whiny emo characters to a minimum, yeah I didn't like the actual design of the characters(kuja, like wtf) but I enjoyed the colourful, picturesque world, a combat system that wasn't fundamentally broken(i'm looking at you ff8) and the truly epic soundtrack.

Also, 6 > any other FF game, but it doesn't count as a PS1 game despite a relaunch imo.

I reckon I have at least 5-6 games with over 100 hours on them. I need to get out more.

And yeah good shout Rasta, I loved Shenmue and FSO. Code Veronica though? Really? I am a Resident Evil fan, and I hate that game.

9 is actually really good. I replayed it a couple of months ago and was super impressed, after being non-plussed by it back in the day.

I think a lot of the problem was that the materia system in FF7 was very simple, and I never got my head around the more complicated mechanics of 9 first time around. I think a lot of people were in the same boat.

You're rewarded for killing Incognito and simply running up and stabbing your target in plain view gets you minimal points. The skill is finding your target, getting close to him without giving yourself away and killing him and he never sees it coming. And while doing that you are being hunted also. The skill is blending with the crowd and not giving your position away with obvious movements(running for example).

Just play it and see. It's terrific.

Getting out of Migar at the start is the worst part of the game imo (worst part= still absolutely unreal). After that the game is just magic.

Yeah it takes a while to get going, but comes together when you blow up the first few Mako reactors. The graphics are out of this world too . It's gas the way you can rename your characters aswell.

Re The FF franchise.

I think its very subjective what order you put your preferences in. Iv had this conversation with loads of people and if you "get" 9 then it will be your favourite otherwise your order of preference is likely to be 7, 10, 8, 9. However all this is really irrelevent. Fact of the matter is they were all great games. Ever since FFX There has never been a good FF game. FFX-2 was a crap money spinner trying to build off the epicness of X. I never played 11 so cant comment. 12 was ok in spots but still not great. Im currently half way through 13 and have no real desire to play it anymore - it really is that bad. Because of this I have no interest in playing 14 and probably wont buy any more FF games (unless they are remakes of earlier classics)

had a serious addiction to Rome: Total War for a while in college. Nothing could eat up hours on end then getting stoned and settling in for a big session. Pretty sure in reality I hate the game due to the amount of time I spent on it but still thought it was excellent.
Barring that FF7 was excellent but 4 player Goldeneye or Mario64 would be right up there with pro evo for hours of competitive enjoyment.

My two favourite manager games for the c64 were The Double, and Multi Player Soccer Manager. Countless hours wasted. With The Double you had to enter a 3 digit code from a cross reference thing that we lost after a while. Very annoying to have to reload the game until we got one we remembered. Very slow game as well, but great.
