The seller on Ali for the phone ships them to a warehouse in Europe first. It is then shipped from the warehouse in Europe so that customs isn't applicable as it was bought 'inside' Europe. That isn't done for that laptop. If you get caught for anything coming outside Europe into Ireland you get a heavy bill in the post before they send on the item which I presume is something similar in France.

Anthony Foley Tribute: Tyrone Howe and Stuart Barnes deliver poignant tributes to Anthony Foley live on Sky Sports after the tragic news broke earlier today

Coverage from sky sports earlier, Tyrone Howe did very well to hold it together having clearly only just found out the news

Hi BBV. A bit of help needed. Looking for a courier service in the north that provides a delivery address for large items to be delivered and will then deliver to the south.

Trying to buy a TV in the north and have it delivered to me. Only people that seem to offer a service like this are deliverme.ie but they wont transport TVs.

Anyone any experience in doing this or know of a similar courier?

If you control +f 'tv' there is a section about it, it's a bit pricey but it's something

That he may not be objective, he seems to have been a harsh critic of Obama for a long time from a quick google search.

But he's black... and somewhere to the left of Corbyn so its impossible that he would have a position on Obama

I don't think any of those facts I quoted are untrue though.

Presumably he's critical in a 'Obama wasn't radical enough, he's a sellout' kind of way?

Sarsfields beat Moorefield in Newbridge. Moore's have had the upper hand in recent years. Great to see.

Around $700 gets you a 14inch, 256gb SSD, Intel I7 chip, 8gb ram, ultra-thin, brilliant screen and battery: all from a fantastically well reviewed seller. Obv Chromebook is the BBV laptop, but unfortunately have a few stats softwares that need the awful windows in order to run.

Kavanagh on the other hand just seems a big headed cocky prick. He's a BJJ coach yet McGregor brings in others to roll with and coach him. McGregors success comes from his boxing and brain, Kavanagh had nothing to do with that. Coat tail riding gimp.

Obv the regime is appalling but they are starting to head towards the present. The country feels to me like Ireland pre Lemass very isolated and trying to keep the reality of the world at bay.

Like would the ability to run software and process data depend on the power of the server or the chromebook?

The Norwegian rocket incident, also known as the Black Brant scare, occurred on January 25, 1995, when a team of Norwegian and American scientists launched a Black Brant XII four-stage sounding rocket from the Andøya Rocket Range off the northwestern coast of Norway. The rocket, which carried scientific equipment to study the aurora borealis over Svalbard, flew on a high northbound trajectory, which included an air corridor that stretches from Minuteman III nuclear missile silos in North Dakota, all the way to the Russian capital city of Moscow.[1]

During its flight, the rocket eventually reached an altitude of 1,453 kilometers (903 mi), resembling a U.S. Navy submarine-launched Trident missile. As a result, fearing a high-altitude nuclear attack that could blind Russian radar, Russian nuclear forces were put on high alert, and the nuclear weapons command suitcase was brought to Russian president Boris Yeltsin,[1][2] who then had to decide whether to launch a retaliatory nuclear strike against the United States.[1][2][3]
This event resulted in a full alert being passed up through the military chain of command all the way to President Boris Yeltsin, who was notified and the "nuclear briefcase" (known in Russia as Cheget) used to authorize nuclear launch was automatically activated. Yeltsin activated his "nuclear keys" for the first time. No warning was issued to the Russian populace of any incident; it was reported in the news a week afterward.[4]

As a result of the alert, Russian submarine commanders were ordered to go into a state of combat readiness and prepare for nuclear retaliation.

Soon thereafter, Russian observers were able to determine that the rocket was heading away from Russian airspace and was not a threat. The rocket fell to earth as planned, near Spitsbergen, 24 minutes after launch.[3][4]

The Norwegian rocket incident was the first and thus far only incident where any nuclear weapons state had its nuclear briefcase activated and prepared for launching an attack.[4]

                                                                                                                Comment

No clue whatsoever about pricing. Was very interested in having a go of it myself to pick up some of the virtualization stuff though. Got a Lenovo TS140 (low watt so low cost) with 20gb RAM (will move to 32), Xeon CPU, stuck a few plates and an SSD ('cache' in Unraid). It runs headless upstairs in the back bedroom, connected to the homeplugs.

I like having the server at home because I also use it for my TV decoder. Freeview card with TVHeadend plugin in unRaid gives me TV / EPG through Kodi instead of using the actual television. My TV is just a screen now really. MK808b+ with librelec is the driver.

I've unraid running holding my files (I don't have terabytes of shit so this is absolute overkill). The KVM hypervisor with a couple of windows VMs and a few linux ones available (can use WOL with Unraid). unraid also has docker built in so really easy to run a couple of pretty useful containers (home gitlab, mysql server) and 'share' them across all the VMs. Also port forwarding setup on the router so can remote into the VMs from outside the network with RDC or VNC (windows / linux / chromebook / phone)

My ms uses Photoshop on her own windows vm on the server from her place in MK. There is some lag, and it's not perfect, but it means that as above, no need for us both to be carrying around workhorses and can make do with very thin clients. Effectively just using the laptop/chromebook as little more than a keyboard and screen.

It would be thoroughly impractical for stuff that relies heavily on GPUs, so watching videos is pants, playing games would be the worst, and heavy 3D editing/rendering will not work well either.

Microsoft are aware of the practicalities of this, and have started offering VM rental at staggeringly good prices tbh. I recommended to shrap before to look at just renting a few VMs and grunt from Microsoft themselves. Would serve most people very well imo. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/pr...hines/windows/

Thin client to browse / watch youtube on. Remote into VM and pay per hour for anything that requires more than basic power.

                                                                                                                    Comment

I don't know what a tracker mortgage is.
