I think he assumed it was a forward pass and was just dicking around and half heartedly dotting it down. The whole thing was pretty farcical. Italy have nothing here and yet it's only a 6 point game.

So I don't think its balls as such, more just keeping level headed and making the correct situational decision at end game. Which is actually rare enough to see so fair fucks to them for that.
