Just on this, MrF surprised me with my Valentines present early to make sure I had everything I wanted organised.

We fly out Thurs morning as he said and that night we have tickets to Cirque du Soleil. Staying at a mystery location in Knightbridge (Mr FD keeping shtume) On Friday evening we have a reservation for "Dinner by Heston Blumenthal" I really can not wait. Super excited about the trip and it sounds fantastic.

Have another day in London to do the tourist thing and then fly home Sunday morning.

Jaysus, how is it 2pm? Just sitting down to start work and noticed the seeming vanishment of 2/3rds of the working day.

Time does fly at times. Got up at 11am, breakfast,quick read of paper, bit of grocery shopping locally, then drove into town and bought a frying pan, came home and made an omelette in new pan, cup of tea and a surf on net placing a few bets. Kids home soon and things will get really busy then.Almost time to light the fire ffs!

Saw some post about getting broken into.

When I was about 9 my sister and I had stayed out at my aunties house and the next evening the folks came to collect us. When we got back the chain was on the front door and they couldnt get in. My dad went round the back and the door was open. The mess inside the house was unreal. This was only a couple of weeks before Christmas as well.

The only presents under the tree were ones for relatives so they were gone. Santa gifts prob up loft. My bedroom was ransacked too and they took my jewellery from it. I was gutted.

Later that evening my dad got called to the station, a guy was found wandering about a rough area with a suitcase that matched the description of the one stolen. He had to be held back when he saw the guy, he was going to kill him!

Everything returned but the jewellery which was mine and my mums that was taken.

After that I hated going up the stairs on my own, had to get someone to go and put the hall light in before I would go up and had to leave a light on in the bathroom and my door ajar. I was terrified of someone coming back and it was a horrible experience. The guy who did it was a junkie and just after stuff to sell. He prob did that with the jewellery I suppose. He hadnt even opened the wrapped presents lol.

Happened me last week with stars/FT. Seems to be no difference whatsover. All my settings etc transferred over automatically and it was all done within 30 seconds.

I had to uninstall my anti-virus software to actually get stars after 2 months without it.
Restarted computer then installed stars, reinstalled anti virus, rebooted computer... to be told I had to upgrade to eu stuff.... and all over again. Lol.

I'd like to think they'd have to accommodate me, alternative for them is I don't arrive at the gate for the final leg and they've to scramble to get my bag off in case it has a bomb or something!

Careful.

Friends did this when they flew Dub -> Cincinatti -> Chicago.

End goal was to get to Lexington Kentucky.

Ohio clearly much closer so they just didn't get on the last leg of the flight. Their bags were held and they were told they weren't allowed leave the airport in Cincinatti. Ended up having to wait in the airport for 5/6 hours for the next Cincinatti -> Chicago flight before renting a car to drive back the same route!

Might have changed since (2009) but I'd want more assurance than that from a guy who pretends to work in the airport!
