Don't know anyone who actually likes it, but yet town is mental every year. Best New Year I had recently was when I woke up alone in my apartment at twenty to midnight after sleeping all day and made myself a nice bacon and egg sandwich!

The above seems to be a case of believing Evra's version of events. In short, the cliff notes are that there isn't any evidence supporting the decision other than the explanations of the two men involved. As such, Liverpool will have an excellent basis for appealing the severity of the punishment.

Evra is the one who starts the insults. This is on camera supposedly. Evra in his own case also seems to be ok with using his definition of a phase when the literal one is different.

Mr Evra and Mr Suarez are agreed that they spoke to each other in Spanish in the
goalmouth. Mr Evra said that he is not exactly fluent in Spanish but that he can easily
converse in Spanish. For Mr Suarez, Spanish is his native language as a Uruguayan. Mr
Evra told us that he began the conversation by saying "Concha de tu hermana". Mr Evra's
evidence was that this is a phrase used in Spanish like when you say "****ing hell" in 27
English, but the literal translation is "your sister's pussy". Mr Suarez did not hear Mr Evra
say this. One of the video clips that we have seen, taken from a close up angle behind the
goal, does appear to support Mr Evra's evidence that he started the conversation with this..

If you read section 245-250ish, they decided that Evra's account was more credible because Suarez was lieing about his attempts to "defuse" the situation. The video clearly showed he was doing his best to wind Evra up, while he testified that he wasn't. That's as far as I've got but it seems to be the basis of the ruling.
