No way can you call a sandwich at 6 o'clock your dinner....it's simple if there's potatoes/pastas/some other substantial meal it's dinner, any of your salad/sandwich nonesense is definitely tea

We obviously have differing opinions on how big a sandwich can be.

Just to add lunch is taken during lunch time during the day. Just try and tell a girl you are trying to impress that you are going to a fancy restaurant for tea and not dinner.
She will think you are some fool who is taking her you for a non alcoholic drink and not the wining and dinning experience you are going for.

Most people I've heard call it tea are from a farming background, where they have to get up at stupid o clock in the morning to tend to the cows and that thus making dinner time around midday and tea later in the evening. This still doesnt excuse calling it tea though, let that be known.

Having a snack. Going out and doing some work and having a fry then doing more work then having dinner.

This is just like having breakfast, working, lunch, working and dinner.

The time you start at means nothing. Most of the time this dinner is at 4 in the afternoon or 5 at the latest. Plenty of lads I knew had dinner as they walked in the door from school. Still not lunch time so still not lunch.

Why use milk or water in omelettes? I use neither, just coat the pan with a bit of olive oil and butter, whack in eggs, cheese and whatever meats/other ingredients you like, pinch of salt and pepper, cook her for a few mins and jobs a good'un.

A half an eggshell per every two eggs of water is necessary as is pepper and really fresh free range eggs and not beating the eggs too much and no olive oil either, a great omelette needs to be made with butter.

its so awesome i'd be tempted to go see it again! for a film that is on greater than the two hour mark, not once did you get that usual why the fuck is this so long, i didn't want it to end, at the end of the film i was like they aren't going to kill ironman are they? i was quite revealed when they didn't, how awesome was the hulk too

maybe someone who is bigger into the comics might be able to tell me, can captain america die?

also went to see American Pie the Reunion last night

its not often that you can get 4films from a series be funny and good but i think they managed it with this, also this film is an example of how guys age better then girl if you compare the members of the cast the guys that is from the original to this one 13years later they don't look that much older, now compare that with the female counterparts obviously tara reid is prob not the best example but you get the point,

i noticed they left the door open for another film at the end don't see how they can do another one

I thought it was pretty poor. The plot wasnt up to much and seems very similar to the Transformers plot. The main villain Loki, was a weak enough character. Most good villains are strong and dont lack conviction. Didnt like how overly pro-american it was. The whole thing of the cube to be used for nuclear weapons as a form of deterrent protection seemed to be glossed over. Couldnt relate to the aliens who came in. They were just so dull, would of hoped for something abit more clever and unique.

Few glaring continuity mistakes. Like Hawk-eye never running out of arrows although he only has about 10 in his carrier. Thats fine but then don't have a crucial scene where he suddenly runs out of arrows.

The characters are obviously classics and it with the big budget on special effects it would of been hard to not make an entertaining and stimulating movie. Some good scenes like the one between Loki and Black Widow, but overall it was lazy I thought.

No comparison between this and the Batmans, which poses thoughtful questions on society and what is right/wrong.

Its on a similar level to any of the Ironmans, Fantastic 4, X Men, Hulk etc.

So ... i've attached the baby's soother to a particularly large teddy bear to see what she'll do. she's just taken to dragging the oversized teddy bear around with her everywhere. slightly disappointing really - was hoping she'd choose the more cerebral options of either untying it or deciding to abandon the soother on a cost / benefit basis. are these the types of decisions that 8-month olds are meant to be getting the hang of, or is that a later life level of decision making?

The Titanic sinks, the One Ring is thrown into Mount Doom, Darth Vader is Luke's father and Ned Stark gets his head cut off!

No way, that's half the point of my post - Ned Stark's head was lopped off in 1996 in print, last year on screen. No fecking way is that deserving of a spoiler any more! Fair enough anything that hasn't been on screen yet, but everything else is fair game IMHO, well, after a week or so of being on TV

It is ridiculous some of the spoiler arguments you see out there (not on IPB, but elsewhere), people demanding spoiler tags as they don't want to watch a TV show now, but are waiting for the DVD, etc... If you decide that, you just have to accept you run the risk of learning some details in advance, and be mature enough to deal with it if you do - knowing about a spoiler shouldn't stop you enjoying something if it's any good!
