Any Waterford peops around able to tell me where is decent to go, pubs/clubs? I'm heading down in a few hours for the weekend for a stag, just thought I would ask here in case the best man hasn't got it all planned out.

When is the stag party? I'm presuming your in your mid twenties so start off in Downses for nice quiet pints, then to Geoffs/Woodmans for alright pints and more people and finish it off in Kazbar/Harveys. Harveys have a serious smoking area although are a bit expensive for beer.

Downses is the only pub that is a little out of the way, maybe 15 mins walk from John St. where all the main pubs are. Although if your party is more than 12 Showboat is a nice place.

Don't go near Forum nightclub(emos), escape nightclub(jail-bait) or dignity(Icarus' kinda place)

When are you down? If you get here before half 8/9 tonight you can play a little game with a couple of pints with me, Kev and Icarus in Mullanes pub. €25(dealer dealt) in and banter to be had

Just had a phone interview with a guy from ARM (the crowd who make the processors in a ton of phones and stuff).

The recruitment girl told me it would probably be just a chat about the company, the role and a bit about what I do in my current job, so obv the whole thing was the guy peppering me with detailed technical questions!

Did ok anyway, cos he says he wants me to come over and do a face to face interview.

I don't know if you're supposed to say "ship it" when you have to go to Sheffield though...

they have been effectivly told to fuck off in europe as regards the interest rate and loan terms
and now it looks like the election statement of "not one more penny of the taxpayers money will go into supporting the banks"

Trying to fix problems that were greatly exacerbated by Fianna Fail was never going to be easy; I would think the consensus of the country is that the new government seems to be on the right track? It is too early to say anything meaningful about them, to be honest. At least they seem to be trying to get the interest rate down, rather than repeatedly saying 'we can't, so we won't try, we can't, so we won't try' as our dearly departed Finance Minister did over the past few months!

I have recently been diagnosed with AAADD - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.

This is how it goes...

I decide to do work on the car, I start to the garage and notice the mail on the table. OK, I'm going to work on the car... BUT FIRST...

I'm going to go through the mail. Lay car keys down on desk. After discarding the junk mail, I notice the trash can is full. OK, I'll just
put the bills on my desk.... BUT FIRST...

I'll take the trash out, but since I'm going to be near the mailbox, I'll address a few bills.... Yes. Now, where is the checkbook? Oops..there's only one check left. Where did I put the extra checks? Oh, there is my empty plastic cup from last night on my desk. I'm going to look for those checks... BUT FIRST...

I need to put the cup back in the kitchen. I head for the kitchen, look out the window, notice the flowers need a drink of water, I put the cup on the counter and there's my extra pair of glasses on the kitchen counter. What are they doing here? I'll just put them away... BUT FIRST...

I need to water those plants. I head for the door and... Aaaagh! someone left the TV remote in the wrong spot. Okay, I'll put the remote away and water the plants... BUT FIRST...

I need to find those checks.

END OF DAY: Oil in car not changed, bills still unpaid, cup still in the sink, checkbook still has only one check left, lost my car keys,... And, when I try to figure out how come nothing got done today, I'm baffled because... I KNOW I WAS BUSY ALL DAY! I realize this condition is serious... I'd get help... BUT FIRST...

I think I'll check my e-mail.

half 8 no sign so i text her and said you better be home in 5 mins as you know im playing cards in mountmellick, no reply, i rang and rang no answer!

rang her friends mam to see was her daughter there, she was. she said chanel she didnt know where she was.
9pm im getting worried as i knew the teenage disco was coming up on wedensday and i text and said its too late for me to go playing cards now. you have let me down and wont be going to the disco.

So put the 5 yr old in the car to look for her with every horrible thought going through my head.

i know they sit in dunnes shopping centre alot so i went there and said chanel im outside dunnes so come on, she came around the corner, got in the car and showed me all my unopened text and was crying saying that 2 weeks ago the fella kissed another girl and that he told her the very next day,

he said the girl just walked up to him after the disco after i collected chanel and kissed her.i told her finish with him and she said no mam he told me the next day said he is sorry and that it was the girls fault,

she im sorry iv always been home when u have told me before.

i feel guilty now she is upstaires upset
so should i let her go to the disco on wedensday night.
im sure if i dont her head will be doing ninety thinking about him.
