However, the key to longevity in consultancy is not to let the clients problems become your problems. They are your bread and butter income opportunities and the minute you cross the line into taking their troubles onboard from a stress perspective you are fucked.Last edited by V for Vendetta; 04-12-17, 12:06.‘IF YOU had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.” Genghis Khan

DUP have to be seen to be fighting tooth and nail against any concessions to "them'uns". If they spoke in anything other than that rhetoric their constituents would eviscerate them. Their own personal opinions arent always as extreme as what they present.
Their conference last week was very carefully managed to keep the loonies off stage and low profile. If the worlds attention had been as focussed on some of the previous years they would have been shown in an even worse light.Low fee Euro/UK money transfer, 1st transfer free through my referral

Anyway being Trump's lawyer is +EV, even if he does it for free. If you can't monetise all that lovely media exposure into $$$$, then you're in the wrong game."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

Getting 10 hours out of it would be fine as there's lot of scope for building back story for the characters many of whom are barely sketched in the story. But having it open-ended and dragging it out for as many seasons as people will watch is just silly.

Martin also teased about the plot of the series, and it is a departure from his original work. He said the following:
“Honestly, at first I was baffled as to how they hoped to get a series out of my story, since at the end of the novella (and the film) pretty much everyone is dead (it was a horror story, after all). But in May, UCP got me a copy of Jeff Buhler’s script, and I saw how he’d dealt with that. It was a good read, and yes, I came away with a better idea of where they’d find a few seasons.”

Basically I think the Tories will keep her as a fig leaf for all the concessions and then give her the heave ho in late 2018. Unfortunately it won’t work for them and Corbyn will come in. It’s got to be the equivalent of a 10% drop in GDP between what 2026 GDP would have been if no Brexit vote had happened and the current clusterfuck.
As for a UK government lead seizing of the opportunities of Brexit. Lol.‘IF YOU had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.” Genghis Khan

When you consider the size of their colonies, the commonwealth and the control they had over key ports around the world in the 1600's-1900's they got a cut off a lot of global trade and resources.
Post WW2 they were able to negotiate stronger agreements in the war settlement with mainland Europe and were strong allies with the US who were outside of Russia the only real industrial power left and on their way to becoming the world leader.
When with European countries finally recovered enough and became cohesive enough to push back effectively they joined the EU.
