The coursera courses are really good - Uni of Toronto python courses are excellent. I was thinking of udemy more for short sharp skills learning, and leaving the deeper learning for the coursera uni style course.

So picked courses from udemy on:
- R (as a side skill to python rather than specialism)
- Tableau (know a lot of startups use it for big data visualisation)
- Applied machine learning (but doing the Stanford and Michigan coursera courses for indepth learning and understanding the underlying principles)
- Keras (software for machine learning)

I wouldn't use it for core learning, more for add-on skills. Fairly certain read that advice somewhere.

Quantopian looks class. My colleague was trying to tell me about it just earlier this week but couldn't remember the proper name. Cheers.

Tableau is a great tool to have, my prior experience with it before my current job was the reason I got the one I have now. I still think Microsoft BI is the way to go though because it's better value and is being upgraded more often.

That said, Tableau is very user friendly in terms of drag and drop for simple scatter plots, bar charts, simple calculated fields and parameters but more advanced automated reporting is tough going imo, it seems to have a mind of its own at times. I do my best to define the data as best I can in SQL and put the query in then, I find it makes life a lot easier than putting millions of rows into tableau.

NowTvs were a cheap way to get an IPTV sub and side load it without any kodi or such mumbo jumbo.
NowTv is owned by sky and a few weeks ago they pushed down an update blocking any and all 3 rd party apps on the device and stopped the ability to load new ones

Did you try and power it up? I would have put in rice and left for 24 hours at least before attempting to power it up. I think that screws it big time if you try to power on too early.

I am losing the wireless connectivity about 5 times a day and need to restart. PLUS I have to have my volume up at 100 to hear anything. That includes netflix, youtube or anything else.

Also, my number lock switches itself off.
