Crilly is from the North, could post here, nice lad, very solid.
Gallagher is from Roscommon I think, had a few pints with him before - he chopped Killarney last year.
Don't know Wheatley

Let’s take the heat out of this. Ok?
As for your argument: it just doesn’t stack up to any sort of scrutiny. What really rubs me up the wrong way is when people spout insurance industry talking points because they are popular. But the arguments don’t stand up. Your basic premise doesn’t stand up. Negligence thresholds (which you’ve never actually established are drastically lower in Ireland) are not the issue - awards are!People say I should be more humble I hope they understand, they don't listen when you mumble

I really enjoyed the energy Fintan brought to commentary with Andrew too. Enjoyable all around!
Not saying that was a bad thing its a fucking great thing imo. no comment on the K8o punt that was just pure hilarious.
what you think of max silvers A8o call off on such a soft FT btw ? i dont like it but i know hes going for the win there so w/e
edit: also commentary was good from andrew he was trying to explain things etc and fintan non stop just kept jumping in, happened alot when lon was in the booth too, he brings energy but in no way should be doing commentary, there was times andrew couldnt get a word in imo, but overall commentary was lots of fun for sure.Last edited by chips1234; 22-04-19, 19:30.

I clipped that K8o. Do you reckon he had no idea how many chips he had left?
Considering he was playing for a syndicate, it was a bit of a suicide move. Reminded me of this PLO hand i saw Ryan Fee play a while ago. Maybe he is secretly on the same level (His opponent does fold btw)
I missed Max Silver's bustout. Stupid work got in the way
Ah, Twitch is full of plebs, so you need to know your audience. Andy broke down some hands really well, and Fintan just brough the Galway attitude! He knows he makes mistakes, and reads some boards wrong (especially doing the PLO cash game commenetry in Kings Casino!), but that's all part and parcel. I'd imagine the general Twitch population would prefer that to a Doke/Lappin team tbh.

agree on the commentary was just super annoying at times, also whoever chose that song that they were playing on breaks needs to fuck right off

lol, I logged into my machine in work to pull up some data points to further the above and discovered an issue that occurred this morning. I dunno whether to thank you for saving me do this under pressure in the morning or be annoyed for ruining my night.
So at this stage, I'm bowing out to fix a mess that future me is getting away with.

Yeah going for the shortest price selection from what you have left is the only logical play here and that's Southampton fairly comfortably.Profit before people.

That must have been the battery, I'm guessing the car hit something and they didn't take the free upgraded battery shielding that was released a few years back or it's a 3rd party knockoff replacement. Or being china the whole car is a knockoff
Thank god the gas tank didn't ignite eh, the suddenness there is devastating though (although the video was doctored down from a minute to 20 seconds or something). If it's their fault, they better get on top of it quick.Last edited by Tar.Aldarion; 23-04-19, 11:15.

If you are around and free Shrap I might buy you a consolation pint for the hiding your boys took on Sunday We'll probably end up watching it in the Oul shillelagh in Stoke Newington or somewhere like that , it's a bit of a shithole but my son and some of his Hackney RFC mates usually end up there.Turning millions into thousands

Any cliffs on young lad?
He's won about 75% of his matches this season, including beating Mark Selby in the UK champs. Has a bit of game about him, but i wonder if he will have a big adrenelin drop the next round.
He's actually Stephen Hendry's nephew, but that was through marriage (they divorced), and he's never had any coaching or real interaction with him.

Early stages of seeing someone. For some reason I only ever go out with people doing physics or chemistry phds?! Ever?! I never know they do that beforehand. Just has always happened.
But anyway, one of my friends gets wind of this and so decides to confess her undying love to me. Ugh. I hate this stuff. Going to NY on Monday, not gonna see either of them first. Lovely three weeks to let everything stew.

(just a general observation, nothing to do with Tar's motsers)
I was always under the impression that people doing PhDs were highly intelligent and highly capable people, now (based off a small sample size) I get the impression they're mostly just seen as cheap lab assistants. Suppose it's subject dependent.

The bar is constantly lowering. Same way a degree used to be something, now everyone has one. A good PhD student is as you say, a bad one is more hassle than they're worth.

Probably funding dependent along with subject dependence, the two often are directly related. When money is tight it's generally really good people getting funded from what I can see.
Saw this paper today regarding something you asked a while ago Denny, no idea if still interested. I'll probably read it later. Against Inefficacy Objections: the Real Economic Impact of Individual Consumer Choices on Animal Agriculture
