For me, 8pm to 9.30pm out in the kitchen, kids tucked in and John Creedon on the radio is absolute heaven. Couple of beers some nights.
Knife in hand. Cooker blazing. Chopping onions, chopping herbs, pots bubbling. That's bliss to me.

For a lot of people dinner is something you get over with so you can enjoy your evening. For me dinner is the evening.

Purely a logistics issue.
I don't get home from work until 7ish. Which is too late for a 3 year old to be eating.
I get a max of two hours chasing around after the young wan and entertaining a rehash of the day from the wife and father in law.
Then either a nice easy night putting her to sleep or an insane night of stories, songs, holdy handy and minds until 10 or whatever.
Then dipping bread into anything runnier than bread before collapsing into bed after spending an hour or so with the father in law choosing an action movie to watch that he and I have seen at least a dozen times before.
Boiling pots, gastro adventures beers and herbs indeed

Racing uk (racing TV) seems to have most if not all the premium courses and has exclusive rights on All Irish racing.
It's a separate subscription though

If you google both you will see what courses they both cover - Racing TV has all the Irish Racing now. Between the two you have everything covered. (basically they cover half-ish each so depends what race meetings are on each day as to what channel has racing on)

My speech was OK. Was pretty obv microphone was shaking in my hand. But held it together. I didn't win however the big boss came over to me at dinner and said I was very good and did a fantastic job.That alone was a big thing for me.

It was based on 3 things you can do to make your store a better place to work in 2019. Mine was based on health happiness and wellbeing.. And to do a 3 min dance excerise on Friday at 12pm etc
Every other store had 2 to 3 presenting. I was alone and absolutely Shitting it. Ah fuck it tis done now. The day was a Good laugh all the same.

Winner was brill tbf. A loyalty card that they actually had printed with them. With 3 circles 1,2,3 Tea, coffee, bun pic beside them. So if your colleague did something for you ie put a call back through for you, you would reward them.

They could probably do with getting rid of the Basketball or at least changing the rules to restrict the NBA players.
Team USA have had a few losses but that mainly happened in and around Athens. The gap is pretty ridiculous tbh.
Dropping wrestling seemed like an odd decision, I'm not really a fan per se but it seems like a quintessential Olympic sport.
It's been reinstated since but odd decision from the beginning.

Hard to compete with synchronised swimming.
Great Improvements have been made for TV. It's entirely watchable now . Been to a few pro tournaments. Brilliant skills .

Just looking at this list of most popular Irish baby names. Clearly due to having read every single other thing on the internet.

Wonder the extent to which what you name your kid determines how you raise them. Saw Luke there, which is what we were going to name our kid. But that would surely have been awful choice. I'd imagine a kid named Luke would be raised in the style of a future presbyterian minister. Or if you named the kid Charlie - it would be a month before you pounce on his one or two giggles to rename him Cheeky Charlie, and for ever after the focus would be all on his fun side.

As it is we went with Max, and alternate being treating him as a puppy or a future all-American MBA who knows how to take a business problem and synthesise a solution.

The name must partially determine how a kid is parented.

Like surely no girl named Gertrude has not been raised to be a steroid enhanced shot-putter.
