Surrender Monkeys a little much. They played really quite well. Defence was ridiculously good.
Extremely good Leinster performance though. Pack did all the work. Ringrose tidied up an awful lot of defensive frailties (acceptable considering the backline!) and read the game so well.
Hope McGrath's injury isn't too serious, but he looked in a v bad way.

Regarding Pearce, I only heard once the "you do your job and i'll do mine" The ruck was a disaster on both sides at times.
Ringrose did well on attack but he wasn't running those hard lines which are needed, lots of dancing sideways and then finding soft shoulder to get a metre but was a tough day for him. His defence was incredible, there was one point where he was back peddling due to be numbers down, think he retreated about 15m at same speed as they were attacking, then cracked into the ball carrier, made his tackle and up on feet.
I really enjoyed the intent of Toulouse. they are one or two players away from being world class

There's an interview with him here. People pay good money for this
Darren: What type of hallucinations are we talking about? Because that’s one of the things that people said would make the bet so much of a challenge?
Alati: It started with shapes and colors. Then I saw a train. And I just had to convince myself it wasn’t real. But that was probably my hardest moment because there was some fear to it. I remember, I was worried about how far my brain would go, so I went to sleep. The hallucinations didn’t stop, but I just took the fear out of it. I started to embrace it. One time, the room was filled with all these white bubbles. I said to myself, “I know this is not real,” but I’m going to go along with it and I had a fun bubble party. There were other times, I saw windows on the bathroom, I saw ceiling fans that weren’t there, and at one point the ceiling just opened up and I saw the stars and the sky. It was absolutely beautiful.

Im taken aback as even though ive never seen her run or jog I cant see her in a running mode and jog is the go to term in my mind. But shes calling me out on this mid bite.
Talked myself out of it without losing credits as you can imagine but still I was questioning myself saying yeah why didnt I say running. Did I down play her efforts knowingly or unknowingly?, im not sure.

I've been dipping in and out of Joyce's 'Dubliners' for a while. Each time I finish one of his short stories I think of you.
Your Polaroid, snapshot style of story telling is uncannily similar. Fly on the wall, mundanity made interesting stuff.
Each story ends incomplete, like an overheard conversation on a train. Just like yours.I hold silver in tit for tat, and I love you for that

Anyone here have kids that went to Colaiste Lurgan?
Application filled out for Mia for 3 weeks in July. Jesus talk about excited, she's buzzing. I'm presuming they just accept as I have to pay 200 deposit..
To get into the music viral singing group thingy, you have to send a video of yourself singing in irish. She is practicing this all day
Take My Hand https://g.co/kgs/KKVT7k
Currently has "take my hand" one line perfected
I said great yep you can go etc I'll drive you... No she goes ill get the bus, I have researched it and its recommended you take the bus as that's where you make your friends. Its obv the college bus stops portlaoise, Dublin etc, Jesus I really admire her independent personality.
Told her I got my first shift in 1983 when I was packed off to one in Carna before being expelled a week later. She didn't take that too well!
Hope all goes acc to plan. Be a fantastic experience for her and she's so excited I hope its fairly simple to get in..Last edited by SatNav; 12-01-19, 23:49.Her sky-ness

Am fairly sure I have the flu, have been down and out since Friday evening. I very rarely get sick, so currently feel about as bad as I've ever felt in 42 years the worst part is feeling like such a burden, normally try to look after the little fella as much as I can during the weekends, here I am having to avoid all contact AND get food, etc brought up to me!
