City airport, small planes and airport, lots of business travellers so its lightning fast to board/deplane.Walk onto DLR then you are on the underground in 10/15 mins.Not that much dearer by time you get nickel and dimed by the cheapo airlines. Epic take off and landing views of the Shard etc

Anywhere near the tube would be fine for hotel, park plaza westminster is my choice, has a quality pool and right beside london eye and parliament
