Here, that golf comp/buster for anyone interested, he does it every year for the 4 majors, has a real time spreadsheet up and running when tournament is in play. It's runs very well. I don't know chap running it but a few here play it. I've won and placed in it and no issue with with payments, although not instant like RD111 for Chel.

David Mitchells Upstart Crow is very good, perfect for the discerning comedic minds of IPB.
There's huge nods to Blackadder (some of the same writing team) in sets and scripts, with Mitchell playing a bitingly sarcastic version of William Shakespeare coping with the trials and tribulations of being a downtrodden working class writer. Good backup cast as well.
Does help to know a bit about WS to get some of the jokes, and even better to have good knowledge of his works (I'm sure I miss a huge amount of in jokes by only knowing a handful of the plays).

There is another twin world / alternate reality series starting on BBC this weekend The City and the City based on China Meilville's book. I haven't read it but everything I have read by him is brilliant but also I would have thought, unfilmable. Should be fun.Turning millions into thousands

I'd wonder why anyone would take a kid overseas on holiday if they have to drug them to get them there.
And LOL if you give two fucks about what people on a plane think of your kid and their behaviour.
It's a pretty unnatural environment for anyone to be in and, as we regularly see on viral videos, adults don't always cope very well either.
There are myriad ways to keep a child engaged so they don't go into meltdown and myriad ways to rescue the situation if they do.

I would be stressed if my kids were misbehaving on a plane. I would not enjoy it one bit. I am not a good flyer and if I could do something to help, then I would. It doesn't make me a bad parent.
When I gave for travel before, it wasn't plane travel and it was unusual circumstances and the Dr advised it.

We have been lucky that the kids are used to travelling and never really been a big issue. We had the two DVD players attached to the back of the headrests for travel and that kept the kids occupied in the car.
Now it's tablets and phones.

So, the city game is on at the god awful time of 4.45am my time. Biggest issue is deciding whether to stay up late to watch it or try a get a few hours kip beforehand as the time is not immediately leading to one option over the other. The biggest plus point is that I am not working tomorrow.

All i'm saying is a common sense approach that avoids drastic (indeed, sometimes just plain lazy) measures like drugs and engages kids in the experience.
But ultimately if some auld sourpuss is upset because a 2 year old is freaking out because of the affect of cabin pressure or wants to 'entertain' the other passengers then that's their tough luck.
Respect works both ways.

Probably. I just bought a few bits with savings in the dip. Interesting to have skin in the game as I never looked sideways at the stock market until I started researching it this year. Buying them as 15-20 year investments but still look at the balance all day every day
