Jesus Ascot is a killer for the bookies
Shiny one favourite; everything else, a good one with decent (but limited) form that can easily outrun it's price!

Making my way through S02 now and I'm surprised at how good it is at capturing the books. Some interesting changes in the background stories but I can see why they make them.

...4 weeks into a new job in Fidelity and still no sign of actual work to be doing...Have training courses each night with an American, but today's was cancelled...So 12:30-21:00 with absolutely zero to do, and no-one around to see me doing nothing...
...TLDR, watching the last 5 Daniel Negraneas poker vlogs and wondering should I try play once a week again 😂...

Need to decide if I'll sell the lot today or hold on to some for the future; I'm probably too cautious to hold such a chunk in a single company when ETFs are available.
One day profit of just over 600; no fee charged to buy the shares, cost me about 55 to sell the lot.
Actually thinking about purchasing some bitcoins and/or ETH as a hedge against the whole crypto-currency stuff; I just don't fully understand it but don't want to be fucked if it continues to grow exponentially in the future and old fogies who aren't in get left behind.

Plan to use a buy and hold strategy and hopefully invest the same amount each month and see how it goes.

lol, i had this open in a tab on my laptop since Monday morning and forgot to post it!
Just witnessed the greatest dealmaker in the history of poker (and obviously the worst dealmaking too!)
Final table of the Sunday Million and already our hero (Mtss7) is asking for a deal before a hand is dealt. As every player busts, he's asking about a deal because he's been hanging on and blinding his way up the ladder. These are his biggest cashes to date, and he only satellited into the $22 and $33 games earlier that day.
Anyway, it's down to 4 handed and the guys finally look at a deal. The other guys aren't beasts by any means.
Ivan shipped a $100fo $25k for 6k and has another $6k score.
Buba has some similar scores at smaller stake games
Toooz probably the better of the 4 with a 5 figure cash and a couple of other scores over 6.
These were the chip stacks (he is shortest stack)
The original prizepool is this.
The original deal discussion was in chip chop, and he somehow brokers the deal for ICM and gets himself and extra 3k from all of the other players on top of that! They all agreed without even questioning it. The chippie just gave away 42k in equity without blinking, and he ended up with 7k more than the guy who had more chips than him.
Guy is a genius and the other 3 are idiots!

Weather, sand, sea and chilling out the biggest wants.
Sand? There's not a lot of sandy beaches here, especially in the popular spots like Sliema/St Julians/Swieqi area where myself, MrsF, Bohsman, Valor, Iago, Lappin, Daragh999 and others live. Nobody lives outside of these areas because it's where the work is, pubs, clubs, cinema, bowling, casinos etc are.
An older couple might like the north of the island, or Gozo which is a very quiet island off the coast of Malta. These are all nice for a couple of day trips though but not to spend a long period of time.
Sea. Well there's plenty of that. Most of the inlets and beaches are just rocks or tiny stones as opposed to sand. There's some sandy beaches dotted around the coast of the island, but again, there's not a lot other than beaches and couple of places to eat in those areas.
This is the live feed from our local beach which is a 10 min walk from the house. We'll be down there tomorrow for 4-5 hours so we'll give a wave about 2pm! It will be packed tomorrow. It's not sand, but little balls but it's a great sea spot.
Travel to one of Malta's most beautiful beaches with our webcam in St. George's Bay, St. Julian's! Explore this Mediterranean archipelago now.
Chilling out. Well, it's not a quiet island. Plenty of building work going on, and the roads are getting busier so there's a constant drone of people beeping car horns, building work etc going on.
Think there's defo better options out there if you want a sun, sea, sand and relaxing holiday. But if you want somewhere to go have nice food, cheap drink, English speaking, great weather, good spots beside the sea and maybe throw in a spin to the casino, or a wander down the party capital that is Paceville, then go for it

I would instantly turn into a detestable cunt if I was suddenly 'rich rich'. No point in pretending otherwise. Reckon it would take me about 3 weeks to start to believe I deserved my wealth and about the same again to start viewing my former middle class brethren as total fucking plebs. No matter how much it was I would blow it all.
One day sure.
