Assuming we take it at face value it seems the judge has referred to the defendant as an innocent recipient of the abuse images. She has deleted the material in as much as a non-tech person could reasonably be expected to do.
And yet she has ended up with a serious criminal conviction for possession of child pornography which will prevent her going down her preferred career path.
It seems wrong and something that could easily happen to anyone, arguably even something that could be done maliciously to another person.Comment
