I see Celebrity Cruise have a few sailing from Dublin a few dates in 2018 to Iceland, an ice and fire cruise, 10 nights and a Norwegian fjords for 8 nights.

Thanks for mentioning that, I went on a Cruise with them from Sydney to South Pacific islands and it was amazing. Would like to do one again.

My Niece's husband is an editor and gets them to watch, They were over for the holidays and was asking me about how they track where the copies released into the wild came from. I told him to send me over a few and I'd figure it out for him

TXFM was a really good source alright, gutted it's gone.

There are still some stations to listen to though in the form of 8radio.com and BBC6 plus you have some shows on other stations that have good content, Paul McLoone on Today FM (think Cathal Funge may be doing something on Today FM this year which would be brilliant) & Dan Hegarty / Conor Behan on 2FM for example

There is also some good music blogs like Nialler9, etc

I also get some stuff from Spotify, some from mates, and some from gigs, I always try to go early enough to catch the support acts

That's it exactly. Once you're in one of the bigger areas, you'll get by without a word of Maltese. Speaking English but will get you by in most places, but the further south you go, and in smaller regions, you'd struggle to get by with kids because it's a lot more Maltese orientated.

Sounds like an Ideal mix though :-) And I hear the climate is perfect. My aunt goes there all the time about three times a year or something. We keep saying we will do a joint family holiday. I forget where she goes. I've never been. My parents prefer Italy though.

Thailand is amazing. Currently in bangkok but think I need to get out in order to survive. At the moment Hotspot retreat looks very tempting as am absolutely shattered.

Thai food here looks and smells shite but taste great which I just can't figure out. The local beer is ridic cheap and even more so with the generous happy hour periods, load of places have 2 for the price of one.

Tragically haven't done any real sightseeing yet (hopefully tomorrow) as the instant gratification monkey is in full control
