You'd think that with all the geniuses that they have in the GAA one of them would have by now come up with the idea of filling the seats on the side of the field that the TV Cameras are pointing at.
Presumably the media/broadcasting setup is in the best stand, which would also be where the fans want to go. Though in fairness the soccer guys do it, with the main camera and commentator put on the dead side at the likes of Dalymount and Richmond.
For this game I suspect that you'd need to move it to an 800 seater venue before it would look anyway well attended.
Only two points behind Norwich now with same games played. Could they pull it out of the bag? Probably not but a few more performances like that should make it interesting.
Don't forget Sunderland. Same number of points but two games in hand.
All three are woeful. It is like watching the last three fat kids in a race stumbling over the line.

The worst thing is, if we win this poxy cup it will give Louis van Lol (c)RiggerEnterprise. Another season in the job. Fucking nightmare situation. Want to see your team win a trophy but want manager gone. Fuck sport.

Think that interview is a couple of years old. He lost the cases against the casinos.

You need to post more about Liverpool. I did like reading your posts on Liverpool on the other thread. What are your current feelings about Liverpool these days. Still a huge fan? Happy with the progression under Kopp? In utter despair over pool inability to hold 2-0 leads.

Beat my previous best by 40 seconds today at the Parkrun, so chuffed. Came in in 25:15. Four weeks ago was delighted to be sub 27.
Aiming for sub 22, have the frame for it, just gotta put in the work.
I hold silver in tit for tat, and I love you for that
Blah blah blah blah.....Separately, delegates rejected a motion calling on the union to campaign for abortion rights in Ireland including the repeal of the Eighth Amendment restricting abortion.
Taking a stand against being outwardly pro choice is a religious hangup in my opinion. It is a trade union after all, not a religious institute.
It was a democratic decision. This is going to be a really REALLY contentious debate. I don't necessarily blame any organisation for choosing to stay out of it as a group unless they have a specific political mandate to enter the fray.
Trade Unions are there to represent the members and the members don't want the union to get involved on either side. I have no issue with that.
You are technically correct...the best kind of correct

My wife is a member and wasnt asked where she stood, im sure the delegates took their stand without a truly democratic vote from their members.
CPSU, along with other unions had no issue going on the yes side for the marriage equality bill.
I know they are not taking a side and staying out of the debate altogether, but since probably more than 50% of their members are women shouldent they be pushing for a pro choice.
Myself as a man should have no say it whatsoever, fuck all to do with me.
As you said, a highly contentious debate no doubt.

Unions can choose to get involved or not as they see fit. This referendum debate is not equivalent to the marriage referendum or any other. Abortion is something everyone wishes didn't have to happen or didn't happen at all. It's a difficult and troubling discussion that is way too nuanced and complex for the way our public discourse is set up to accommodate it adequately.
The bolded part of your post is completely wrong. This isn't a woman's issue or a man's issue; it's a social issue and we all need to decide it together. Also your assumption that all women are pro-choice is demonstrably inaccurate. Age plays a much larger role in determining views on abortion than gender.
By the way I am pro-choice; but I have no qualms with any group deciding to give this one a skip given how heated it's going to get.

I would say most of my friends would be pro choice. They range from 27-45. Even when I was younger I would have been the same.
I do have an online friend who is constantly putting up pro life things on her Facebook. I would bet she would unfriend me if she knew I didn't support her ideas. I have seen very heated arguments on her page and avoid. There is no reason in her opinion that a pregnancy at any stage should be ended.
Being raised in a country where it was allowed maybe made a difference to me as there was no church influence to shove down our throat's. In school we learned about sex and we had various forms of contraception passed around the class and the girls were told about the family planning clinics where you could get the pill in you were too scared to go to your family GP.

sure it makes no odds - do we really think a minority FG government propped up by very conservative FF and very conservative rural Independents will dare to introduce an abortion referendum?
said as much to a woman who was shoving leaflets at me in town yesterday
"We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."
I've one stance on abortion. Catgorise it.EG If there are medical/mental issues .Give it a kinder reference. If it's simply an inconvenience to have the child spell it out ABORTION.
Theon's Dad, Balon Greyjoy. I'm entirely certain he will die in the first or second episodes. I asked them for a price and they quoted me on Theon's death, not Balon's. The market closed before I got a bet on.

Its a subject many wont voice there real opinion on in case pro lifers scream misogynist.
I remember our sex education in school the full 130 in our year were packed into the sports hall and shown stuff on a slide.
It was basically a wiki of every std known to man.
The cases were obviouly left for months or years mickeys like a swollen turnip with added spots and pus seeping out.
A pussy that looked like a lion was scrathcing at it etc.
No mention of contraception etc.
I see my friends kid shes 24 now lived with me for a year and can see how at the time at abortion was the easy solution shes a good woman doing a masters and working full time.
By all means if the foetus-baby has no chance of survival outside the womb and mothers health is in danger then a termination is best .
The problem with mental health is who makes the decision if the woman is mental enough to need an abortion.
Id not like to make that decision.
I think its sexist for people to say its the womans choice half the baby is the mans-if she waits a few months and gives birth the man has responsibilitys financially anyways and rightly so but if she wants she can abort what would be a viable human being in a few months.
