So, the reason I haven't been posting here for so long is simply that I haven't had the time. I still don't really but Lazare told me I had to so I am trying to log in every so often.

Amongst other things, including holding down a very busy full time job, I've set up my own production company for Film / Documentary / TV. So far, we've worked on three projects, two of which are still in production.

Below is our first fully completed piece, which is a mini doc/promotion video for The National LGBT Helpline to support their National Coming Out Day on October 11th.

Re Leftovers

Watched all of season 1 after advise from here. Def in the Lost - WTF is going on - genre, but Ep 9 was one of the best hours TV I've watched in a long time.

I'll stick with it for another season anyway.

Has anyone here taken up the cycle to work scheme. I have spent a while reading up on it and still cant really find a clear explanation of what my savings will be.

Is this wage dependant? As in the more tax you pay the higher the savings. I understand the Vat savings come in to this aswell but can you maximise the 52% while still in the low tax barrier.

I was also looking at the company pension scheme and you have to be working for a year and you are only able to sign up in the following January. this means I will be a year and a half there before I can take advantage. Is this standard procedure?

Yep, everybody in work has a bike. I'm the only one that cycles. Waste of money for most people but I've saved 2 grand so far from it, as well as getting to work way faster. (Rocked out of bed at 9.30, in for 9:50 this morning whereas a bus takes an hour )


But anyway, there should be fuck loads second hand, some of them aren't hoarders.
