    @Enzoscifo
    Great reply and breakdown

    @Easymoney
    If you give a guarantee then surely this must form part of your running costs and overheads!!!!!
    If the calculations are right your not in any hole..... give 4 tickets and move on

      Of course they should take a reg fee for costs if they so choose, however I'm pretty sure that the reg fee goes towards tickets and is pretty well known that this happens. To then take prizepool money for costs after this is ridiculous. You can't get punters in the door by saying your reg fee goes towards leagues and then just take money out of the prizepool for costs.
      Tbf anytime I have played there recently, which hasn't been often, there has been a guarantee on the nightly tournies and they have not come near the guarantee on a few accasions and still always paid out, no problem. This latest incident just seems like it could have been handled a bit better by not using the word guarantee when talking about the tickets the leagues would generate.

        No more guarantees now, they were only for the month of March. how they expect people to stay playing when they are going back on their word with tickets and now no more guarantees, they really need to start doing something before people start walking out the door.

            Things have improved over the summer.

            They ran with a carbon copy of Caesars in Salthill in terms of guarantees on Monday and Friday nights and are now getting 35 to 50 runners each night.

            The games were changed with double chance and scalp tournies added.

            The structure was changed which now sees people cashing around 1 30 with most games finished before 3 (it was cashing around 3 with finish at 4 30 - 5)

            The end of the month returned with added prizes.

            A royal flush jackpot was introduced. This was acceptable as they started it off with 500 euro (2 euro from each person per night added to the jackpot)

            They had a new TD who ran the place very well.

            However, over the last week..

            2 regular's barred when their dealer girlfriends are working (not down to management but to the owners ) while another can play?? Has never being an issue before, presume it is to do with the case posted above.

            Old TD is gone, new TD lol. Nice guy and hopefully he can pick it up quickly. On Friday last he has the phone in his pocket and it's engaged (so no one can ring in). Cut to 9 and everyone arriving at once. The 3 in front of me are sent to their table's and all come back as someone else is in each seat. He tells us we are going to have these problems if we all arrive at the same time .

            Last night he does his keep phone in pocket trick again but its getting boring having 40 players sitting at the tables at 9 and starting it at 9 25.

            The Royal Flush jackpot was won on Friday night (3.5k) for the 3rd time since it was introduced. So Sunday night the new total goes on the board, 48 euro. At least have the balls to say we are not adding 500 euro anymore because of whatever.... besides putting it up on the board as if no one would notice (right next to the we are adding 500 euro sign). Much rather its dropped if its just going from the prize pool.

            The no TV on rule may as well come back unless you can tune the telly in

              this is the same in tallaght and dun laoghaire .this place should be closed down the way they treat customers ,i wonder have they even a gaming licence as there are no fire escapes in dun laoghaire which makes it a hazard,the draws are fixed,sooner the better this place closes
