Waterford United win @ 3.25
If there's any winnings they will be donated to William Hill. Shall be backing France not to qualify from their group @ 7/2 as tipped by yesterday's Racing Post.

Big result for Bohs on Saturday considering how they have been playing recently.
Midweek EA Sports Cup.
Winners get into the newly formated Setanta Cup next season so that will provide some extra incentive. Still can see the big sides fielding weakened sides with a leagues fixtures on Friday night.
In Cork we hopefully get to see Gearoid Morrissey given a start against Limerick tomorrow evening. Supposed to be top class and is being tracked by a lot of English teams.

Backing Wexford Youth @ 8.6 tonight, silly price! Both sides have taken a step back since last year and both have been nothing special this season. Since the Youths came in the LoI they have been causing plenty of shocks at prices above 8.0. Last season they went to UCD, Sporting Fingal, Waterford, and Shels - taking all 12 points on offer from those 4 games. I'd be pretty certain that if you backed very single Youths game in the past 3 years you'd be showing profit. Wexford caused another upset last week by defeating Waterford who currently lie second. If you've got a couple of euro lying around and you are looking to back an outsider this weekend this could be it.....

I think that about a fair price (might even be a bit generous)
He is 33/1 With Lads
They dont price Irish football right,in particular Sligo Rovers (thank god )
The Bohs lads should share the goals between then imo!...?
which leaves Twigg as deserving favourite
However Amond will be playing up front in an attacking team (with an actual back 4 this season) who should play well
Blinkhorn who is a shorter price with Lads is a link/target man
Sligo Rovers have a good shot at 3rd/4th this season which makes him a pretty decent bet at 16/1 and defo worth a couple of points ew at 33/1
Raff; a winger, did alright playing up front for Rovers last season
Amond 2pts ew Top LOI Goal scorer 33/1 lads!
so far so good! was all over sligo today! thankfull pats went too short to get backed or woulda got messy there!

Amond played really well last night, full of confidence, always looking to get in behind, lays on a lot of chances for others as well
Thank you shamrock

Pats played like a prison team tonight
ref was awful lax, could have booked a load, could have sent off a couple
glad to get thru to the semi, hopefully with no injuries (peers went down heavy near end so)
ooh and Sligo Rovers played some seriously lovely stuff for large periods
Kinda stuff that apparently is not played in LOI according to people who don't go to games
Pats were poor

Was unlucky with Monaghan won 3-2.

depending how long byrnes out, it could affect bohs big time. shame rovers slipped up. Cant see dundalks weak panel doing anything. Sligo are playing good football, and fingal are tough to beat. hopefully have a good run in

Wexford away to Salthill Devons tonight.
Over 2.5 goals is 2.0 om the machine. 9/11 Salthill games have been overs this season and its 8/11 for Wexford now both teams have only scored 8 and 7 goals respectively but shipped 49 between them.
So I think the terrible back 4 of both teams will leave more chances for both attacks.
Outstanding bet at evens imo.

Floodlight failure cost me about €100 on Friday but there was no guarantee that Drogheda would not have come back in the 2nd half.
Cork City are 4/6 against Mervue tomorrow evening. This could look very good if new signings George O'Callaghan and Shane Barrett come into the team for the game.

Shels -V- Derry
Derry are on a nice unbeaten run since the 3rd game of the season, which was their only defeat to date. They have great away form 7-1-1, while Shels' home form is quite patchy. 2-0 defeat here for Shels. 13/10 for the away win looks decent to me and this will shorten up before kick off tomorrow.Last edited by Raheny Red; 15-07-10, 10:31.

fancy cork and limerick to both perform well in the second half of the season because of signings
Will be big boost if we can get anything up there(hard to believe I'm talking like this about Monaghan)

I fancy limerick aswell
Also backed mervue
Think pats at 13/10 away to dundalk is amazing value too. dundalks small panel will be stretched after tonights euro match. pats have a rest, and burns and cherie still out (two most important players)
there is bigger available on sligo btw - but not touching that game at the minute anyways
