Have some shillings on Barney @18s and MVG @ 9/2 pre tournament and Wade pre this game at 12s. Was in the same spot in the PDC last year when i had 3 of the 4 semi-finalists and still lost. No doubt Taylor upsets me this time around again. Barney can break me even betting wise but anyone else and it's damaged limitation!

MVG won 5-4 averaging 101 and missing doubles all over the shop, he will have to play better or Taylor will make bits of him, Barney probably aswell.

Don't get blinded by the 180s, Anderson hits them like there single 20s aswell. He's playing we'll but don't make the mistake of underestimating the 3 others.

Wade is very very dangerous aswell. I'll say it again, if MVG plays exactly as he did tonight Phil Taylor will murder him.

MVG is scoring big, but he missed a ton of attempts at doubles. Was only streaming it (badly) and he missed 6 darts at a double on 2 occasions early on. Any of the players left can punish him if he keeps that up. As the famous saying goes 'Scoring for show, doubles for dough'. His highest checkout is an extremely modest 121.

Taylor has only lost 9 legs in 4 matches so far. He's in amazing form and will take some stopping. Would like to see MVG or Barney win and that would be a dream final for me, but it's far from in MVG's pocket.

This is tripe, Taylor isn't in the form to murder anyone averaging 102 and a 30% checkout.

It's a flip of a coin between the big 3 who shows up over the next two nights of darts.

Was just looking back over some averages over the last few years and interesting to see that in the 2010 champs, Taylor averaged 102.48, 103.28, 104.26, 107.37 (beating Lewis averaging 102.85), 106 and then 104.38 in the final beating Whitlock who averaged 100.51. That's some epic darts right there!

This year he's averaged 93.92, 90.23, 97.18 and 101.38 but lost only 9 legs. So so average but definetly many more gears to move up when needed

Agreed, MvG was never ahead of throw IIRC but was nearly always underpriced throughout (imv). Lots of missed doubles detracts from the quality but entertainment wise it was right up there. Bear in mind also, which MvG had a 103 average that was with a dreadful doubles rate.

I hope MvG wins easily tomorrow, I don't think I will be able to resist laying him v heavily in the final at an overly-short price.

Dreadful ott, but at one stage he missed 8 darts at a double in a row, v unlikely he will be able to get away with that again
