limpwhacker has 16 points to make up, so even if you give him sweeps from Limerick, Trump (I think people are assuming a lot here as he still has Kyren W to beat today to even get into the points) and Sheffield United (Burnley are still second here so pokerhand could pick up points), that still leaves him minimum 4 adrift.
So he'd need something from Kemboy, Kane, France handball and Brentford (who are sneaking up impressively in fairness).
I think it's an awful lot of results to suddenly bink. But he's definitely a contender at the moment.

The final picks for Richie and Flush are big- I won't use mine unless something happens to my picks..

Yes, exactly that. Basically Last Longest on just all of the English players. 4,2,1 points for the best three such players. (It was my attempt at making this event competitive for us, when it was 'open' last year almost everyone was on MVG)
I'll base it purely on round reached, i.e., if the two best English players get eliminated in the quarter finals then they'll split the 1st/2nd points regardless of sets/averages or which game was on stage first.

AJ, what your assessment of the remaining games? Are there anything from the chasing pack I have to worry about?

SP might be the one with best chance, but really needs to start with Wigan in the rugby league final. Kilkenny is a nice differential for him, they should beat Waterford and be competitive against Lim/Gal in final. And Judd Trump is a plausible winner of the snooker. Salah looks more likely than Werner to be in the points in the top scorer. Then 2 changes give him flexibility to get a differential on the horse racing or darts. But it's a thin path really, i'd put you at 1.08 or thereabouts.

Two events end next Sunday as we continue to rattle through to the end-game.
In the afternoon it's the Munster Hurling Final with Limerick (6 picks led by Strewelpeter) against unpicked Waterford ( surely KevIRL would have been all over that if he'd played).
In the evening it's off to IPB's new favourite state Georgia, for the event which every year signals the start of summer. It's the US Masters Golf.
