    Advice on mid pocket pair

    saw flop

    SB (t7700)
    BB (t3181)
    UTG (t5574)
    UTG+1 (t4920)
    MP1 (t2540)
    MP2 (t4010)
    CO (t2708)
    Hero (Button) (t2938)

    Hero's M: 13.06

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, 9
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls t150, MP1 calls t150, 2 folds, Hero bets t2938 (All-In), 4 folds

    Total pot: t675

I was just wondering if this is a bit too agressive? How would others play a mid pair in this spot?

Perfectly fine imo, more than likely adding ~20% to your stack uncontested is always good.

Very standard to shove 20bb there. You need a solid read to fold or flat imo.

Thanks for the replies. Am I right in thinking this is standard too? Edit: Or should I open fold here?

I'd fold the first one. With half the table left to act and a utg limper low pocket pairs don't play well.

Isolation shove in the second one is good. Getting rid of a shortie to your right is always good as well.

Pre ante shove first, and fold other two. If ante in play shove 2nd hand with any suggestion villain will limp/fold utg.
