So just the usual IPB BBV stuff

It's fucking hot in Vegas by the way. Poker is easy there. Everyone thinks I had an English accent. The Rio cocktails waitress's are the hotest by far. Slots might as well be shiny buckets where stupid people (me) dump their money. Homeless people sitting outside multi-billion dollar hotels is a sad juxtaposition. My impacted wisdom tooth is now falling apart for some strange reason. Americans are really really fat. Asian girls are hot. Daniel Negreanu is ultra skinny in real life. Steel Panther rocks hard. Penn and Teller are cool as fuck.

I could go on but as I said earlier I'm awake 30+ hours and I'm afraid most of what I'm saying wont make sense.

Get this looked at and removed asap.

Back in 2001 I went to the dentist for a check up - he took an xray and told me I had an impacted wisdom tooth. He said it probably wouldn't trouble me for a few years but to get it looked at and removed when I had the time. He explained I'd have to have it surgically removed under general anesthetic. His message went in one ear and out the other. Fast forward to 2005. I drove up to my friends house in Galway one night after work and was sitting on his couch at about 1am after a few beers. I suddenly got the worst pain of any physical pain I've ever experienced in my life. A shooting throbbing pain like a heartbeat from my tooth and shooting into my brain. It lasted for a few hours. I was nearly crying. My friend was freaking - he thought I was having an aneurysm or something. It took nearly a week before I could get it removed. (Fortunately I had VHI and it cost nothing but would have cost 1400 euros iirc). I was on mega painkillers but when the pain would come they could not fully surpress it. The wisdom tooth had grown sideways into the tooth beside it and had reached the nerve the night in Galway. So I had to have that tooth removed also. Every few hours until I got it removed the pain would come and last for a few hours.

TL;DR get that wisdom tooth sorted before you encounter pain that you never want to experience

best entrance ever was his 'boxer' one; Landsdowne Road 1997. The band are on warming up the crowd and suddenly the giant TV screens switch to this picture of a 'boxer', head covered with his robe, throwing air punches, flanked by his cornermen and walking towards the ring. There's a single spotlight moving through the crowd - the boxer is of course Bono, who walks through the entire crowd from the back of the Landsdowne Road pitch to the stage. Of course all the audience are facing the stage and don't realise that Bono is strolling through them - except for the dudes in the stands who are screaming their heads off. Class. Princess Diana died that night too.

I was at the night after when he sang wake up dead man for her. Seemed a bit inappropriate I thought. I'm in the not a u2 fan camp tbh(dont think I ever had an album) but was at Popmart in 97 and Vertigo in 05 and though both shows were brilliant

the way i see it is, the guys got a bit of a scam going and fair duce to him. afterall it was good enough for our politicians, bankers, developers and friends of the aforementioned so it should be allright for one of the biggest bands in the world then, shouldn't it?

My problem is, if people genuinely think they're one of the greatest live acts of all time, then they really need to get to more gigs. Its rose tinted goggles stuff, and that article llinked to earlier sums it up perfectly.

yes they put on a spectacle, but how horrible disjointed did half the band look tonight? and its something I've noticed every time I've seen them, there's such a lack of balance. U2 come out with a huge stage show each time a new tour rolls around, but havent written something excellent in a long long time.
