Copy and paste like always, it doesn't show up if you try to preview think some people have been caught out on that.

I just hate previews for movies. Prefer to know nothing about it only who is directing and who is acting and go watch it. Much more enjoyable experience that way imo.

I like to know a little something about the movie builds it up somewhat and helps you avoid absolutely dire movies.

For the Green Lantern I think I only saw the trailer 2/3 times as I didn't wanna know loads about it, think I will do that from now on only watch a trailer a couple of times.

IMO you gotta watch a movie trailer at least once to gauge it.

This new Adam Sandler movie Jack & Jill for example, I'm sure people would go see it/watch it because its an Adam Sandler movie but the headline this dude uses pretty much sums it up.

I've been lurking here for the last while after being pointed in the direction of the site by Eoghan104. I am after moving to Copenhagen so I thought this was as good a time as any to join the site!!

Moving abroad has also forced me to start downloading TV as to say the Danish TV is crap is an understatement I have been told to use vuze for all my downloading but I can't get it to work and was hoping some kind soul here would be able to help ( I ran this past the mods first to make sure it is ok to post this on the forum). The problem seems to be that vuze is only searching 4 sites instead of the usual 10 or so but I can't find a way to change that?

I would appreciate any help and hopefully I can return the favour in the future!

I advertise my business on facebook and for certain target markets it really is the only show in town as well as being relatively cheap. The ease which people can direct their friends to your website can hugely benefit any type or size of business.

People don't really buy newspapers anymore and the ones that do skim through it quickly on their way to or from work and as someone put it to me recently T.V is the poor mans internet, nevermind T.V and print media trying to pass on huge overheads to fewer advertisers.

Oh yeah, if you do Facebook right it works wonders for business - I just despair at seeing so many companies get it soooooo wrong! A bad presence in Facebook is worse (IMHO) than no presence; it is like when everyone pub, newsagent and one-man band years ago started paying web designers to throw up website for them without any plan to update the sites or leverage their web presence. It was probably a great time to be a web designer; likewise, a dedicated social media manager now is probably worth their weight in gold!

Does anyone use / have used a pedometer <insert paedo joke>? I am thinking about ensuring I take 10,000 steps per day. I don't want anything expensive because this idea probably won't last much longer than the time it takes me to walk it home from the shop. Are any of the Ipod ones any good (no idea how they work as such)?

Or should I employ an Eastern European to follow me around all day counting manually and whip them if they are out by anymore than 5 steps (will require 2 of them to compare, and their tongues cut out to prevent collusion obv).

Also if there's one thing that the brief history of social networking sites has shown us is that it is most definitely survival of the fittest and prone to dynamic change as new sites evolve new abilities. It is incredible how market leading sites have fallen by the wayside. I see no reason why Facebook should maintain its dominant position if it is faced with novel and wonderful patented features from Google+.

What is it about Google+ that is a wonderful new feature or ability that Facebook doesn't have btw?

well with groups already in place, FB just need to introduce a GUI to make it easier and more ready to use. I can see this battle turning interesting. If anything, it'll be good to have google push FB into making some changes.
