Epic game 2 in the NBA finals. Spoilers just in case,

Very impressed by the Celtics, they won the game despite getting very little offence from either Paul Pierce or Garnett, although their team defence is simply incredible. Foul trouble for Kobe kept his minutes low, but even still I thought the Lakers did a poor job getting him and Gasol the ball on offence.
Ray Allen setting records for 3pt shooting, bench production from Nate Robinson and Davis, a triple double from Rondo all pushed the Celtics ftw, going to be very interesting in the next 3 games in Boston. Even if the Lakers steal 1 there the Celtics have shown they can win on the road (throughout the season and the playoffs too).

I have no doubt you believe what you're typing over the last few pages of this thread. But you can be assured your position will be modified in four years or so, and you'll be listening to a wider range of music in a few years time. Simply put, you are too young to have your views on what is good or bad in music all locked up definitively. There is so much you couldn't have heard yet.

As far as the debate itself is concerned though, I think there is a developing trend in the music industry against career longevity for bands / collections of artists working together. Practice makes perfect in everything, and if one was to make long lists of the best albums of previous decades they would find that the majority were not debut efforts. As such, I'm a little incredulous to the suggestion that we should expect the general technical competence of popular music to rise if things continue as they have been.

Improvement in production / sound recording equipment != better standard of musical proficiency.

But basically appalling standard of dealing and absense of a competent tourny director, blinds weren't announced, tables not being broken, game turning to crap shoot and nothing done about it... and people who ran blinkers running it i think. I have an unlimited card with cineworld and need to give them a call to switch my direct debit arrangement from one account to another. There contact page is as follows:

For the last week I have tried the 0818304204 number numerous times between the hours of 10am - 10pm and keep receiving an engaged tone. So today I call the +44(0)844 815 7747 general customer service number as I'm in the house between 9 - 5pm and it's not a bank holiday over there. You get a recorded message providing you with options, the first of which is "dial 1 if you are an unlimited card member". When you select that option you get a flurry of call waiting music then the line just cuts out. After trying this a few times, I decided to pick option 4: "other queries".

Upon selecting this option I get straight through to a customer service person. I explain to her that the 0818304204 number doesn't seem to be working - she informs me that it should. Then I tell her about option 1 on the menu and it cutting me off and I can make out that she clearly thinks I'm a crazy person from the other end of the line. Sooo, I ask if she can just transfer me to the unlimited helpline and she tells me she can't. She takes all my details and says she'll send them an email asking them to call me.

I assume they won't.
