What is the Monday these days actually? I remember getting a text a while back saying it had changed and haven't been in since.

Any albinos here can strike Tanzania off our mass BBV African emigration:

He was right, he could have been tactful and found a better way to get his point across and he generalised a bit but he was right. Internet forums in general, and at times this thread in particular, are not for the faint at heart. The vast vast bulk of posts in here are either helpful or jokingly taking the piss out of someone.
If you can't take the slagging, or if you get offended and fly off the handle at every perceived slight then your time on the thread isn't going to be pleasant and in turn you'll make it unpleasant for everyone else, like it or not that's the nature of most forums/groups of people in the world.

Anyone playing this D-day poker thing on Friday??
The people playing in the larger venues obviously have an edge because they can get a bigger stack together before play stops.
Need at least 12k to make it worth your while travelling to Killarney as well maybe??Originally posted by ArmaniJeansI like this heat - some proper music innit.
None of the 'black disabled lesbian warbling backwards' stuff that the other players inflicted on me.

My point is not that Zod should not say something if it is annoying him, but just find that little bit of tact that wont offend. It is simple...

This forum is like a bunch of mates who have known each other since they were kids, even though some (most) may not have met in real life, or certainly not spent anywhere near as much time together as the banter suggests.
That means not taking each other too seriously and taking every chance to get a dig in. Nobody is trying to hurt or offend anyone else, and it should be taken in the spirit that it's meant.

I do not agree that we should either sink or swim. All we need to do is adapt what we post to certain people if we know it is going to cause an upset. Sometimes I think some people go out looking to wind Michelle up. I know I will make jokey comments at/to her. But I do not do it in a way that she will find offensive.

If say 10% of the posts on the thread forever more where just posters going back and forth with accusations/explanations of why it wasn't an attack/non-acceptance of the explanation/someone telling someone else to cop on etc then it would be very unpleasant for the rest of the readers.
You can put a user on ignore, but it's harder to put the quotes of that user on ignore and you can miss sub-conversations that maybe you were interested in as a result. In either event you're changing something in your behaviour in order to make allowances for someone else, which in turn affects your enjoyment of the thread
I don't think I've ever put a user on ignore in any forum I've ever spent time reading and I've had to deal with far worse than anyone has ever posted through here (even DBC) so I'm not going to start now.

Blatant spam of my mates band here. They've just released a new album and are worth checking out, kinda have a Biffy Clyro, Xcerts, sound about their new stuff.
New album is available here, A Plastic Rose - The Promise Notes , it's free to download in return for a tweet or facebook comment about the band. As I say they are decent and a few people here might like them. Lead single off the album is below as well as an older song.

It's an exaggeration here btw but....
if everyone else gets it, and everyone else can post and be posted towards in such a way that they don't find it offensive, and one person constantly finds offense with the same manner and tone, then who do you think should change?

Anyway.. where the hell is that Zod fella? causing all that trouble and hiding

And on that note, 10 days off the sauce today...feels good to wake up and get out of bed early and actually be awake.
And speaking of awake in the mornings...this has also been very regular the last week...

MSN also knew that her "QED?? wtf. Y U no speak normal" was playing off the lol look at me image.
If Zod should have a moment to think and then say nothing if he's annoyed. Then why shouldn't MSN do the same if she didn't understand QED after googling it?
To be clear, I don't think either of them actually should stay quite.
Sure sometimes Michelle speaks without thinking, but my reaction is and not
Zod did have a bit of an outburst, but I laughed at that too and don't think he was paticularly insulting. Much worst gets posted here imo.

I just googled QED there, it isn't a plain as day answer really. Most of the time when you google you get what you are looking for. We all know MSN posts first then thinks later and that can be her charm. But Zod was pissed off with poker and imo he said things in a way he wouldn't normally.

There's a whole lotta love in this forum for women!
Seriously surprised that Zod posted that hours after the QED posts... reading between the lines, the tone was pretty bitchy for a guy and smacks of cowardice IMO. Making fun of someone's lack of knowledge is a new low for BBV.
Fair play to Mrs F for standing up and speaking out.
