Download malware bytes here
make sure you can view extentions of files, how to here
rename the mbam setup.exe file to explorer.exe (the virus knows the name of the setupfile and blocks its use), install
once installed browse to Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
rename mbam.exe to iexplorer.exe
open, update, run quick scan

when finished, view results then click Remove Selected.
you may be prompted to restart so do so.

FYI guys, while we have a conversation about the best games of all time going.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is £3.75 on Steam this week. It's easily the best game of the last few years and everyone should play it. Twice. I have it on the PS3 and might buy the PC version just to play it again in a higher res.

It is being released exclusively on the new Amazon Android Market for free today, but is only available to American users there. This link won't work after the free period expires.

You download the apk file, then upload to your phone via usb, then using a file manager like Astro (which I use and is very good) install it. Ad free and all. It will be a while before the free official ad supported version is on the general android market. When I say today, I mean Tuesday, so that link won't be around for long more I'd say.

You can download it straight to your phone and install it without using your computer

That is a steal - truly an excellent game and it looks and plays very well on PC. Looking forward to the sequel, Arkham City, out later this year (I hope).

A friend of mine is looking to get some French and German grinds for her kids over the summer and she was asked me about live-in tutors, said she heard of the this somewhere but can't remember where. I thought I'd ask here to see if the BBV knows more about it.

She described as basically a french or german student comes to Ireland and gives grinds in return for bed and board - almost like an au pair but teaching their native language instead of minding children and housework. I've never heard of it, but she thinks it would really be good so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Turned out the problem with my pc is something to do with my motherboard.

The guy that was looking at it for me offered to put my components and a similar cpu into a backup pc he has, and in fairness charge me pretty little for it.

Got it back today and he's replaced my dual core with a single core that's half the benchmark speed, and my 4gb of ram with 2gb of a different brand. Basically the cpu was running at 100% just running a few tabs of chrome and poker client and was noticeably slow so I'm pretty tilted.

Is there much is involved/how possible is it to just buy a new motherboard and ship everything including my old components/cpu into that?

Where's your 4g of ram gone? Why not transfer that across to the new motherboard also?
