How long before it would get noticed?

Has to be a 30 second delay between posts (though you could write posts during this down time). So there are 2880 * 30 second time periods in 24 hours, obviously you aren't going to manage to post every 30 seconds on the money everytime.

You'd also probably be suicidal after 41 minutes.
I would be totally up for the challenge if I didn't have a life.

As it is I'm doing a bit of spamming today to see if we can entice anyone to the headsup league with my free money sig.

I reckon you could probably put up 1000 posts in a day.

Seems high to me - you'd run the risk of being banned because posting at that rate you'd be posting absolute nonsense more than likely.

I assume threads like count to a million would be banned.

                        Think 2k is doable.
But that is ignoring getting banned for it, not sure how easily it would be picked up on, probably very.

According to wiki, there are 1350 forums on boards, but this both public and private forums.

Great shows, but the ads are a disgrace, 4 minute ad break every 8 or 9 mins.

You have to sky plus shows otherwise you would be driven mad.

I was driven mad watching boardwalk empire the other night, and I was able to FF the ads!

Even having to fast forward the ads every 8 minutes is a pain in the hole.

Meant to send a complaint email actually, thanks for reminding me.

Its a bit morbid, but I often wonder how Fowler would have been remembered if he'd died in a car crash age 21.
I'd suspect that up to South Africa 2010 England would have been talking about how Fowler would have been their star forward in his 5th World Cup, almost certainly having set a new record of goals scored for an English player. And who knows what they would have won.

And us Liverpool fans would be talking about the jewel we were robbed of, and how huge swathes of the 90s and 00s MUFC dominance would have been different if only he'd lived.
He'd probably be talked of in terms of top10/20 players who ever lived.

Pretty happy in fairness for the lack of effort I put in. In my defence too, the 40% one was on a wednesday and Thursday morning, was chronically boring and I couldnt do it while hungover. I tried to go in still shitfaced but alas I passed out in a friends gaf bout 10 minutes before it

Sure he stayed at Liverpool and didn't want to leave. Leaving the rumours aside, he didn't really maintain a great fitness level.

I mean, Fowler and McManaman* were were only 28 and 31 respectively when they arrived at City in 2003 and both looked used up and washed out!

I will say this: when he returned in January 2006 he did well. But even then he was only 31, and being so limited physically was just wrong.

                                                  A real underachiever.
People do tend to forget the the serious knee injury he suffered in the 98 season where the keeper nearly cut his leg in half

For all the "spice boy" guff he was never the same physically after that

I really think poker on the CV would depend on how much you need a job. I mean if you've been making a living playing poker for the last while and are just experimenting with the idea of going back to being a wage slave, then you'll be wanting to get the right job, not just any job. If you're busto and not sure where your next meal is going to come from then cover it up with some lies.

To the right boss - a guy who can recognise that feeding and sheltering yourself off the back of poker for any decent length of time is an achievement and demonstrates lots of admirable qualities - this would be a massive boon.

But a random boss in a random job might think you're a seedy degenerate with possible mob connections and the only reason you're looking for a job is because you went busto... well, that's something you'd like to avoid.

Some great quotes in there about how we've given away our freedom, by selling houses to each other at obscene prices!

I've a few gaps between 'real jobs' on my CV and haven't had problems in the past (when jobs were easier to find), I'm guessing they might be a bigger issue now that employers have the power. Remember though that there will come a time when the balance of power shifts back to us wage slaves though!

It is a sick world where we must live our life in a manner that first and foremost makes us attractive to future employers; if I save a few years' salary and subsequently decide to take a year off to travel, read, watch TV and generally take it easy, I'm might be now practically unemployable! Our society wants us to be productive and tax generating little citizens until we are 65 (and probably rising to 70 in the future), only then can we have our fun... Fuck that shit.

Controversial statement, and I'm genuinely not trolling here but here goes...Robbie Fowler was never that good and only scored goals in an English league that was at it's lowest ebb in decades. He struggled at higher levels, bar one season his European record was awful, and he never made it at international level. His drop in form was more in the standard of the league improving and passing him by than anything else. Discuss.

It's worth an argument imo, yes he was a great finisher but how much of that was down to a league that was weaker in the mid 90s than any time in my memory and if results in Europe are a gauge then it was one of the weakest top flights in England in decades. Though of course his injury had a massive impact too, so I'm not stating an opinion either way, just trying to stimulate a bit of debate really.

I said fcuk this, went on the Nicorette inhaler the next day & haven't smoked a cigarette since.

That said, he did have a habit of scoring in the toughest Premiership games at crucial times. He wasn't merely padding his record against Swindon or Norwich, etc.

Guards would be onsite to speed up the registration process and make it legal etc. I emailed UCD SU 2 days ago asking when they would be in UCD, and they said well actually USI were just co ordinatig the publicity for the campaign, and that I could go in and get a form in UCD SU and bring it go a Guarda station and yesterday was the last day for sending the form off

I was like, wtf, the press release said it would have Guards present on campus to avoid the hassle of having to do that etc? Response is that "Unfortunately the Gardaí were too stretched to be of much assistance as the schools rugby has been on this week apparently, which was unfortunate."

Harkens back to the glory days when Liverpool would take down the European Cup by beating the champions of Luxembourg, Norway, and then a tricky final against some Belgian giants.

He struggled at higher levels, bar one season his European record was awful, and he never made it at international level. His drop in form was more in the standard of the league improving and passing him by than anything else. Discuss.

Though of course his injury had a massive impact too, so I'm not stating an opinion either way, just trying to stimulate a bit of debate really.

Harkens back to the glory days when Liverpool would take down the European Cup by beating the champions of Luxembourg, Norway, and then a tricky final against some Belgian giants.

I said fcuk this, went on the Nicorette inhaler the next day & haven't smoked a cigarette since.

I find them great because smoking is a habit & with the inhaler you're doing something with your hand & your mouth (at my age the choices get limited).

Give them a go I think they are the business
Ditto on the use of the nicotine inhaler as a crutch here. I'm surprised not to see more of them in use, particularly at poker tournaments where the smoking habit is very prevalent amongst the players. I played the deepstack on Wednesday and there must have been a hundred people outside smoking during the break. For a ex-smoker its murder after the break particularly when the smokers return to the tables and this is where the inhaler kicks in.

I smoked for thirty years and like yourself, kakak, gave them up in mid October after getting up one morning and finding it difficult to breathe properly. It was diagnosed a week later that I had a number of small clots on my lung. I spent a week in hospital and am now on a blood thinner for at least six months. I had been off the cigs for four months in 2007 after a previous scare but in a moment of madness or extreme weakness I went back on them despite a warning from my gp, and I kid you not ,that I was better off injecting myself with heroin on a daily basis than going back on the cigs. Ok maybe he was exaggerating but at the same time he was obviously conveying a serious message regarding my future well being which I choose to ignore. I ended up having a sly cigarette under the railway bridge on Townsend st at lunch time as I knew I'd lose the respect of my work colleagues if I was seen smoking again.

Someone posted yesterday that they were giving up in a weeks time. I was saying that to all and sundry for twenty years. Seriously my message is, do it now! Smoking is a curse and will undoubtedly cause serious health issues and subsequent loss of quality of life for those addicted, in the future. Also if there are underlying health problems, the smoking habit will exasperate them. I wish I had never smoked and still remember the 'na caitheamh tabac' add on rte from the 70's. Its not as If I didn't know what I was doing to myself at the end of the day.

Anyone who read Moneymakers' recent log update will have been impressed at how hard he worked for 10 months to get himself back in shape after basically 'letting himself go'.
Alas, the long term effects of cigarette smoking are not reversible, damge to the lungs and arteries.

Maybe I'm a bit over the top here but I hope someone gets the message. I was knocked out of the deepstack the other night on the 4th last hand and boy did I need that nicotine inhaler.
