Was looking at these shoes in the Ryanair mag last Thursday. Essentially they are shoes for guys that add about two inches to your height without making it noticeable that you are wearing lifts.

I'm fairly tall at about 5'11'', so the potentially fun plan would be get them and see if anyone notices. I mean the last thing you would expect of someone fairly tall is that they would get lifts. And yet people you talk to in work every day would have to notice something different, but wouldn't know what to attribute it to.

As the brother observed, it would work best with someone who is 6' tall, as they would be used to looking down at you ever so slightly, but would then find themselves looking up ever so slightly.

Bit expensive, but think the inner-laughes you would get might be worth it.

It seems to be the connection the desktop and laptop both connect fine but every now and again pages are getting dropped.

Just seen his missus posted something on facebook, had a quick look at the broadband section on boards and it seems like something to do with the dns.

Have 15gb's worth of stuff to download that I missed while away and dont want to start it on this shaky connection.

That may be so, but Jim Bowen was the vastly superior presenter. The opening five minutes would just be Jim's genius wit going head to head with some of the brightest minds in Britain as a warm up for the epic battle for 200 quid, a toast, an iron, a colour TV and the chance to gamble it all against possibly winning a speedboat.
