Huge vote by the Socialists in Germany today whether they will enter coalition talks (if they say yes there will be another vote on any proposed coalition deal). Seems to be strong forces within the party against it. If it doesn't pass it will almost certainly mean another election, the vanquish of Merkel and a move by the CDU further to the right similar to the Austrian result. If there does turn out to be a coalition, the AfD will be the main opposition party for Germany.

WiFi Question - Lately we are having trouble connecting to more than one device. Last week for example we could have a PS4 playing online, an Xbox playing online, someone on a tablet and another person watching Netflix whilst all connected to WiFi on their phones.
Now it seem's once the PS or Xbox is on no one can connect? Any idea's before I give them a call tomorrow?

Originally posted by The Situation View PostWhy though, home advantage is huge in rugby, like more important than nearly all sports. Giving the worst performing qualifiers a home semi (if they win their quarter) is ridiculously unfair on those who killed it in the group stages. You should never reward underachievment imo.

As to drinking; rather ironically the one non- drinking, non-smoking vegetarian wartime leader was Hitler. Go figure!"We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

If you had to come up with a list of 'globally significant leaders of the 20th century', Churchill would be very close to the top of the list.
It would be a short enough list too.
Lenin
Hitler
Stalin
FDR
Mao
Churchill
Gandhi
The list of less important figures might include the likes of:
De Gaulle
Adenauer
Mussolini
Mandela
Truman
Johnson
Ho Chi Minh
Ben-Gurion
Brezhnev
Reagan
Peron
Nehru"We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

Originally posted by Hitchhiker's Guide To... View PostJaysus Raoul, the things Churchill wilfully did in Africa and India make him a horrific person. This was before any war. It seems noteworthy that Obama made a point of removing his statue from Oval Office while Trump insisted on putting it back in. Plus Jack is defending Churchill. You might want to ponder the side you've put yourself on here! He may be significant, he may have made witty comments, he may helped win WWII for the right side, but he also needs to be at the top of any list of most horrible leaders."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."
