The first two nights I was hallucinating a full psychedelic stage show involving two of the three patients opposite me, though the whole area behind them was like some serious special effects.

Have a technical downloading question. Hopefully haven't asked it before.

The new projector we got gives a 100inch screen, so have been defaulting to 1080p movies to download as seems like a bigger file should deliver something better, but those 1080p files can be kinda huge and our broadband isn't too great. Is that a necessary movie spec to be downloading?

Have absolutely no idea what 1080p actually means, except that its higher than 720p, but don't actually know what 720p means as a base level. Sees there's also an increasing number of 2160p movies (ultra HD?) available on nzbgeek. Would you see any noticeable viewing improvement in viewing quality from downloading those? (fwiw whatever movies we've been downloading so far in 1080p seem perfect)

A last question: there seems to be huge variations in file sizes of 1080p movies. Why is that? Are some just lazily compiled, or would downloading a 14gb vs a 5gb 1080p imply some difference in quality?

Quality depends on resolution, encoding and bitrate. 720p can have a better qality image than 1080p. unfortunately for you bigger filesize is most often going to translate to better image due to bitrate. encoding is shown here http://wp.xin.at/archives/3465


1080 and 720 refer to how many pixels there are, if you have 720p screen it cant show the full 1080 pixels, if you have 1080p screen and a 720p film it will get expanded and be of lower quality

I've decided to keep on vaping, though I have reduced the nicotine level to 6mg and also just take a few hours break from it every now and then. To be honest I'd be more concerned about my caffeine intake, as it's something I'm inclined to overdo (and get more of a buzz from).
Think there would have been more than 10 doctors who asked me about my smoking history, without exception they all gave the impression that they considered a vaper as someone who was now a non smoker.

New Projector 100" screen. You have to download the 1080p ones, there is a very noticeable difference between the resolutions at that size. Most movies is download are in the 9gig -12 gig range.
