The Gambol. 999 likes. Americana/folk-rock band out of Madison, Wisconsin. Laying the grooves and playing the tunes!
They seem nice enough

Its an all too familiar a story, sad and desperate. Good luck to the lad in putting his life back together, I met him a few times across the tables and he seemed sound.
Nice chap, sad story really. Gambling horrible addiction. Kinda feel sorry for him.Her sky-ness

I was in Galway the last few days. I was lucky enough to get into Connemara and climb the Diamond. Nearly killed me, but that wont be my lasting memory.
This place took the shine off what i did. The hill is in the background.
I was talking to a retired police and he was telling me, 30 years ago, he was in a car with his Sargent, parked across the road from Letterfrack. "that place needs to be investigated he said, ill bet there was murders carried out there"
I have had a few drinks now, but i hope to wake true to my word, Im not sure who said it here, HJ ?, but I will make it a personal mission to approach every person in religious garb and beacon to them , whisper in their ear..." you should be ashamed"This too shall pass.

Had dinner here last night. It has 1 Michelin star
Discover tranquility and rich history at Penha Longa Resort, a luxury hotel in Sintra, Portugal near Lisbon with golf and a spa.
Incredible experience. Of the 20 courses only two felt like they were there to just fill time. The rest ranged from good to great.

Feels somewhat wrong to be noting that the tipping comp now has a €1900 prize pool.
Hope gazman gets it back together, always found him to be perfectly normal. Also (and I say this as a banker), fuck the bank. Hopefully someone got sacked - this should have been nipped in the bud 1 minute after the first attempt and then everyone would have happier outcomes."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

If the man was a raving alcoholic it would have showed physically same with drugs.
Gambling is different no hangover red eyes etc if you do your brains.
Don't see how jailing him sorts anything.
How can he pay back with a criminal record.
When you see guys getting off for beating and biting his girlfriends face and other absolute scumbags getting suspended sentences its hard to stomach.

I don't think there is a defense of what he done. The way other crimes are handled is a separate conversation. I hate when the Garlic / Onion fraud case gets brought into these type of conversations.

Tell that to the family of the woman he stole nearly 40k from.
Do your time and hopefully come out the other end clean.

Was involved in a few investigations in casinos about money missing. Gathered machine records, CCTV footage etc. It amounted to 6/7 quid a month and owner was a bit puzzled why the manager was so worked up.about it. "Those little nibbles always become big bites" was his response. Wanted the guy gone, owner said he would have a word. 6 months later it all blew up over a 4 figure sum from a customers account.Low fee Euro/UK money transfer, 1st transfer free through my referral

(mind you, I worked in a place once that suffered an $18m fraud )
The bank should not have wanted this to go anywhere near a courtroom.

I know with my Ma that even if the bank/guards assured her on the first and every call that she'd get her money back that she'd still be a complete irrational wreck thinking she'd been robbed, that she'd done something wrong, that everyone was talking about her, that money wasn't safe in a bank and she'd be better with it under the mattress etc.

That's not simplistic, it's just the way it works.

Anyone still watching Billions? I lost interest in it half way through the last season as it became unwatchabley bad. I picked it up again as season two just started. The first three episodes of the new season have been much improved. The third episode is poker related with a cameo from Hellmuth.
Speaking of poker I see the rumor mill is flying with the story that Dwan stiffed Haralabos for big money. Haralabos gave an interview saying he was taken for seven figures by a player which was never paid to him and the NVG finger seems firmly pointed in Tom's direction at the moment.

Had to bring her mother to mass this morning so went in rather than go up and down twice. Probably the youngest there bar a scattering of under 10s. Sermon was about suffering and spent the whole time imagining Lazare sitting beside me with steam coming out of his ears.
Said a prayer my horse ships the CPT game today so lets see.....

Also whose gonna pay to administer this? The actual tax payers of the country. How many people would be eligible to vote in this? Many multiples of the actual population of the county? Absolutely bizarre.

What would have happened to all of those people in the absence of mother & baby homes, orphanages, laundries etc?
Not in some imagined paralell universe where the state provided proper social services, but in the context of the time."We are not Europeans. Those people on the continent are freaks."

Bollox you should be allowed to vote for anything if you've been gone for over X amount of years.
