My iCloud was compromised over the weekend.
Locked up my phone and laptop. Have to send bitcoin to a specified email lol.
Managed to get my phone unlocked, as I had two factor but I stupidly didn't on the laptop. They are all work devices too.

Poker After Dark returns tonight after a 6 year hiatus (it's on PokerGo and we might see some sneak onto Twitch). It will be a 100k min buyin with blinds 200/400.
The big news is that Tom Dwan is coming out of hiding to play it, and will feature in the first 3 episodes (along with JRB, Bill Klein and Lauren Roberts). It's a shame that it's just the same old faces, playing the same old way and they couldn't even mix in some fresh faced youngster from the live or online world.
Will probably still watch it though, although considering it starts in over 3 hours, i won't be watching it live, that's for sure!

Listened to the Polk podcast with Jungleman. It was tough going but the stuff about the games Tom and the rest of them have been playing was interesting. Basically tier two game that he plays is big with regular million $ pots. The most popular game they play though is short deck NL which is NLH with the 2's,3's,4's and 5's taken out of the desk.
The huge game which he can't even play as it is VIP invite only which I believe Tom and Ivey have access to plays the same type of Holdem short deck as the main game with regular $5m pots. I wonder how much the likes of Dwan have made out there over the last number of years.

Yeah listened to that the other day msyelf. Jungleman is a difficult person to interview but he always drops little gold nuggets that other people would swerve. Really hope him/Durrrr get their challenge finished but can't see it happening. I've read reports that Dwan was in the hole for over 50m US and his backers weren't happy at all (as you'd expect!) but there's so little info about those games, it's hard to tell. Anyone tried any of his non-ASOIAF short stories?
Some of them are really good, after 6 years without a big book its been a good reminder to me of how tightly plotted his stuff can be.
So far would recommend The Hero, A Song for Lya, With Morning comes Mistfall, This Tower of Ashes, The Stone City, and And Seven Times Never Kill Man which is one of the most complex 20 page books I've read (not sure I get it fully even after a re-read
).
