We're going to NYC in October and if the US fails to get it under control over the next few months I'm fearful that Trump will have banned all travel to the US for quite a while longer than necessary, possibly in the lead up to the election.

My parents have come to visit and flew through NYC the other day, they said plane was empty, loads of people had entire rows to themselves to lay out on.

I don't get the bernie is better in every way comment. Biden has the black vote and womens vote in large parts of the USA that we as outsiders are unable to comprehend what life there is like. The fact that Biden has smashed the Michigan vote is a very good sign. Biden has also a stronger position on gun control and a willingness to take on the NRA.

I think we sometimes fall into the cult of personality. I like bernie, i wish i lived in a place where the things he was advocating for were currently in place. However to me, american politics is less about the president and more about the team around them. I think Biden could be a little more left leaning version of Obama which has a much bigger chance of success.
