I have recently discovered Showbox. Whole new world for me. I am slow when it comes to all that stuff so it's probably 10+ years old. Everything is perfect on it though.
What was the consensus on Mr Robot here? Half way through season 2 here and enjoying it so far. Lead is interesting. Im torn between thinking he is incredibly believable and wanting to kick him in the face.

Probably a little dated already, but I'm not fussed. I might have to get off my ass and google what Kodi soon.

Wasn't it the case that the Christian protector that his father sent him to was a Nazi official. And he was the one that was confiscating property. Soros was just there posing as his godson.
Or maybe that's the story now, it's quite possible that he was there to point out the Jewish property in return for protection.

When you are involved in something like that you are going to downplay your own role and there are no witnesses left alive so you would have to assume that what he admits to is the bare minimum of what he actually did during that time.
A normal person would have stories like, I went into a house and knew there were kids hiding in the cellar and I was able to convince my controller that the house was empty. Or I took inventory of the property in that house and here it is, but purposely didn't mention some valuable heirlooms so that the people could keep them.
He doesn't have any stories like that, just matter of fact, I helped confiscate property and I have no guilt because somebody would have done it anyway.

I'm not sure about the already head protection part. A Jew goes to a Nazi and says hey will you pretend my son is your Christian godson. The Nazi doesn't just say no probs without some sort of benefit I'd imagine.

It just seems bizarre to me, and nonsensical to level such critique at a child.
A couple of points though: Soros himself doesn't use the "being a child" defence of his actions. Although, responsible age is a whole other debate, anyone who works with young offenders will tell you that, and don't forget you are talking about an extremely intelligent person, not a street thug.
He also doesn't mention anything about the holocaust and how hard it was for him. All he says is that if he didn't do it somebody else would and in fact he uses that defense when he speaks about devaluing the pound in 1992 and causing a crisis that ultimately the British taxpayer had to pay for and his part in crashing the Asian economy by his currency trading in Malaysia.

Both the grinder and the aeropress came before Christmas. Very happy with them.

russia eh
n the spring of 2010, a Kremlin youth group called Nashi was apparently behind the release of a greatest hits sex reel. In it, various prominent members of the already sidelined, utterly irrelevant Russian opposition were seen cavorting with a prostitute nicknamed Moomoo, who had lured each of them into the same apartment, which was bugged to the hilt. One of them, a prominent (married) journalist, did a few lines of coke with Moomoo before they retired to the bedroom; another, a Russian nationalist, twirls a fedora as he prepares to have his way with Moomoo. Still another, a Russian comedian named Viktor Shenderovich, who had been targeted by Putin in 2002 for his satirical show “Kukly” (“Dolls”) that skewered Putin and earned his ire, is seen timidly expressing his gratitude to Moomoo for finding an old man like him attractive. The video dropped two days before Shenderovich’s daughter’s wedding.
That tape, while somewhat embarrassing, was largely pointless, however. It seemed to have been the FSB just doing what it does, and helping Nashi flex its political muscle by kicking people who lacked it (but who might still, in the Kremlin’s view, start a fearsome “color revolution”). The opposition men took it as a badge of honor. “It’s a reason for impeachment in America,” opposition activist Ilya Yashin, also caught with Moomoo, told me at the time. “Here it’s ‘big props.’ Even when they see Shenderovich in this tape, they say, ‘Not bad! The guy’s already 70 and he’s so energetic!’” He added, “What would be political murder is if they published someone with boys,” he said (Russians, as evidenced by the 2013 laws banning “homosexual propaganda,” have somewhat retrograde views on homosexuality.) “And they didn’t find any gays among the opposition in two years [of trolling for dirt].”

The disease for which former deputy first minister Martin McGuinness is receiving treatment, amyloidosis, is a group of rare conditions caused by deposits of abnormal protein – amyloid – in tissues and organs throughout the body.Prognosis
Prognosis varies with the type of amyloidosis. Prognosis for untreated AL amyloidosis is poor with median survival of one to two years. More specifically, AL amyloidosis can be classified as stage I, II or III based on cardiac biomarkers like troponin and BNP. Survival diminishes with increasing stage, with estimated survival of 26, 11 and 3.5 months at stage I, II and III.[10]People say I should be more humble I hope they understand, they don't listen when you mumble
