Hillary's rhetoric doesn't encourage violence. His rhetoric does. So when someone who nominally supports her commits an act of violence she can legitimately say that she can't be responsible for how every person who supports her will act. Trump forfeits that defence by using violent rhetoric in his speeches.

Market over-reaction. There's only been one reported poll from an urban precinct. The early lead looks to be primarily because of what counties are reporting. She had a 60k lead in the one major urban county thus far.

Yeah, plus, early exit poll results were from northern Florida, bordering 'the south', big GOP areas. Romney was leading by more at this stage and lost the state.

Pinellas County (it includes parts of Tampa) showing a 3 point lead for Clinton. If the neighbouring county (Hillsborough) goes much the same way it is gonna help Hillary a lot.

why do people think the shifts ( small ones) are any major indiction of how the voting is going. the only thing worth monitoring is the votes coming in and not a speculative betting pattern.

See above when I spoke about Hillsborough County? They just started reporting. 10 point lead for Clinton. She just saw a 300,000 vote swing to put her into the lead in Florida with that county and others reporting.
It's not conclusive, but there's a pattern developing.

Some weird results in Virginia. Trump leading by 10 in a State where I had Clinton as a LOCK. That being said I think it's mostly southern Virginia counties who have reported so it may be that as the norther counties come in things will change.
