The tennis in the Olympics h8ers can move on. Every major player who was fit went. All of them played doubles when they never normally do outside Davis Cup. But early pace is irrelevant. He had to run low 27:05 to beat Tanui and the others regardless of what they split for 5km. If they were faster earlier with the same finish time, its no harder for Farah to catch them.
Records and medals are based on the finish. And the fact is that Farah fell and still ran one of the fastest Olympic 10k's ever. For that reason it's really an awful piece of evidence for the "not on drugs" argument.Comment
