There seems to be little point to a lot of these posts other than Islam is stupid and draconian.
For anyone in the 'shut the borders' lobby, they must be aware that denying these migrants the right to asylum is condemning many thousands of people to death that could otherwise have been avoided.

So even if they subscribe to the extremely tenuous premise that shutting out migrants will stop or reduce terrorist-related deaths, it still follows that either you genuinely believe that a single Western life is worth at least a few orders of magnitude more than the average migrant life, or you struggle with basic logic.

I don't know what the solution is to Islamic extremism, which is clearly a worsening problem, but I'm really hoping that collectively we can come up with something a little more creative and morally justifiable than 'shut out everyone that looks a bit like the last bad guy'.

I'm aware that there is an increased affinity between veganis/vegetarianism and Buddhism and Hinduism. Christianity doesn't particularly favour any diet afaik, apart form the whole "no-meat" thing on a few days a year. I seem to remember fish appearing a lot in the Gospel, but that's probably more so down to Jesus hanging around with a bunch or fisherman.

What exactly distinguishes game from course fishing.
I used to fish as a kid with my dad. Not much, just a couple of mornings down the Liffey catching nothing. Or the odd day up in Wicklow during summer. Stopped at some point, I suppose it was replaced by shooting when I was older.
I've recently taken back up fishing again, really enjoying it. Although it's a little tough trying to get my head around a new set of species. Even things like the names (and nicknames) Aussies have for everything. Stuff like that's really hard to pick up solo.

Freshwater game fish here would be Trout, Salmon, Sea trout and Char (any fish with an adipose fin). Also Grayling which despite rumours dont exist in Ireland afaik.
Sea fishing game fish would include I expect Sharks on the fly with Bass from the surf and 100lb + Tuna off west coast.

We cannot put them into the ghettos in Belgium, France, Germany etc because of the current problems they have, adding even poorer people who dont speak the hosts language to the mix is only going to compound the problem. Like it or not these people are going to be living in temporary accommodation for the duration and the end goal has to be stabalising the region and letting them go home.

This is what happened in the Balkans when most of the refugees ended up in the countries surrounding and most went home afterwards. Opening the floodgates and telling them to start a new life in the west is not a logical move and this is nothing to do with not wanting Muslims in Euope but to think that you would strip away the more moderate Shiite population will only ensure that when ISIS is broken the people left behind or who move in will be the Sunni's sent by Saudi.

This is not even factoring in that a lot of the illiterate goat herders as sick puppy so nicely put it probably want to go back to the farm they have had for generations and rebuild rather then live in basically a slum in a worn down area of Holland.

Break ISIS, move the people back and financially support the region through the IMF and World bank to rebuild is the realistic but long term option. In the short term the world economy giving to housing the refugees in Turkey is a decent plan. Pity they have the worst human rights record in Europe but it should be an international fund. NATO, The UN and whatever Russia is calling it confederation of states these days should have medial corps in Turkey providing aid and security and troops in Syria clearing the way back.

Expecting Saudi to take refugees from Syria or pay for anything is laughable since half of ISIS come from Saudi. If the world continues to bottom out the oil prices Suadi will go bust at some stage and we can all look on with glee as the population turns on its self
